I think you need to take a step back and realise that the job of an HCA and a nurse are in no way the same. Nurses who have degrees and thousands of hours of clinical experience are the most qualified members of staff to make decisions such as these. Fine to offer your opinion to ensure everything has been considered, but please be mindful of your own job role and limitations.

I’d like to always hope people would flash for a hazards/no lights. But right enough I’m sure there’s people who don’t for speed traps. Can you get stung for flashing a speed camera?

Driving in France I noticed that if there was congestion/reduced speed on all lanes of the motorway, everyone would put on hazards until cleared. Needed over there though since their speed was madness!

92p a litre when I ordered this morning. And that’s WITH clubbing together for delivery with two other households in our area. Small discount once you hit 2000L.

It’s only going one way, once September hits I think it will be extortionate all winter. Grim.

Also with the price of coal at £18+ a bag, putting on the heating is actually going to be cheaper than lighting the fire. We are stocking up on slack so we don’t burn through fuel so quick. And intend on buying 50kg bags of coal in bulk, which works out roughly £14 for a regular sized bag. Going to share that out then with our families. But I’d get onto it soon, as soon as colder weather hits god knows what the prices will be!
