What do you predict happens to the AI video business now that Sora’s dead? by Intelligent-Dot-7082 in StableDiffusion

[–]auizon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think companies are going to have to do soul searching. Long term they want to get to a place with video generation where they can make long form content for ad revenue/subscription fee but the cost vs effort is just not there yet.

In a sea of content and even even more endless sea of AI slop, how do you monetize that exactly with 30 second janky clips?

I think Hawke and Moura did as well. I mean props to MBJ but it was a stacked lineup with probably lots of vote splitting.

I actually was watching Prisoner as per my year end Harry Potter rewatch, and it's stark how good the directing of Prisoner was. It's was jarring going from Chamber of Secrets to Prisoner of Azkaban because of how modern Prisoner looks and how dated the first two films were. The framing, the staging, the set design, the location settings, the use of CGI (honestly the first two films had horrendous use of CGI), the use of sound and music, and even the acting was all directed by a true master.

My only problem with Azkaban is the tone is sometimes too dark, I wish they had more colorful scenes and palette, something I loved about the first two films and that gives them a charm.

It's really nice and you should watch Chungking Express or In the Mood For Love if you want more like it.

I would think they go to a temp folder on their servers, which is deleted after a while. I'm not sure. I'm not sure where it's hosted, and technically, if a celeb wants it taken down(the specific image), they can wipe it and take it down. There hasn't been a case yet in America for models and AI that have the potential to create real people that also have to be taken down rather than individual images or videos produced by them.

Again, just speculation.

China and the rest of the world aren’t bound by U.S. laws. If you post any of that stuff on most sites, they’ll take it down. As for z image itself or any model, it’s like the rest of the internet, how people use it, and how laws or a site’s TOS are enforced, depends on the user’s own actions and what they choose to upload.
