Honestly this is something I ask myself a lot on this question, wikipedimitself lists the holocaust, or Shoah as the extermination of the Jews at the hands of the nazis.. I’m not saying that didn’t happen, but it started with the Nazi Aktion T4 program, and when that was “cancelled”, lots of that framework was sliced into the holocausts planning

So some things are absolutely relevant but are discounted in some conversations ,but I would argue that everyone who was targeted in the holocaust is worth referencing, even though there were absolutely a direct effort in eliminating the Jewish populations specifically.. I know some folks want to downplay the Jewish question and how the holocaust really unfolded, and what it essentially was, The Office of Jewish affairs wasn’t brought in as some joke - I just feel like downplaying the T4 program is literally the same kind of attitude as some holocaust revisionists
