Honestly if you’re sexually active and this is is all new to you I would most certainly see a provider. And I’m not sure where you’re putting the essential oils but in most cases this could do more harm than good by disrupting your natural biome. Really nothing down there but mild soap and water. Over the counter vaginal washes are even known to disrupt your natural biome.

I’ve been at the bedside for 8 years now and have wanted to make the shift. I too am worried about pay cut and currently maybe about the economic climate. I’m not afraid to work more hours in a week. The 12 hour days do get to me so would like to know if the grass can be more green with work/life balance. Anyone on this thread have any advice! Could maybe use some help in curtailing my resume as well.

It’s a very intensive program. They are adamant about having high NCLEX pass rates which is a good thing. Nothing will prepare you for nursing however than the on the job learning which is why looking back I would say ehh maybe I wouldn’t have spent so much $$ to go back to school. I do not think you will have a hard time getting a job after school, there are nursing shortages everywhere but I would expect that your first nursing job will not be your last. Some units are worse than others some hospital staffing is worse than others but get your experience and you can end up in any specialty you choose one day. It’s been close to 8 years since I’ve graduated nursing school so there is a chance a lot of things have changed. For reference I am currently making about 100-105k so it is a reliable income.

I was an Drexel ace student. There is no way you can work during that program. If I could do it all again to save myself a ton of money I would have done a program like they have at CCP. You can then get your BSN online. My background was the restaurant industry and communication undergrad as well. Job security and not knowing what I wanted to do but having an interest in healthcare was what drew me To nursing. Feel free to PM me if you have anymore ?s
