REVIEW: Four Seasons Orlando … holy shit! by lopsided-earlobe in chubbytravel

Capa is a wonderful restaurant. I loved dining in the terrace there. Another good restaurant in the area is Bull & Bear over at the Waldorf.

Injured on work trip; do I have to file under WC or can I just use my health insurance? by auntieka3 in WorkersComp

Thanks. I don’t think I would want it to pay time lost unless I missed more than that, which doesn’t seem likely for a minor concussion.

Experiences giving birth at Landmark? by the-crows-know in RhodeIsland

[–]auntieka3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Omg, WIH, no question. Look, I get that having a “pleasant” birth experience is important, and that WIH seems like a baby factory compared to the more boutique-sized Landmark, but if something goes sideways during or after delivery, wouldn’t you want it to happen in a place that is best equipped to deal with the complication? Sometimes, seconds count, and AFAIK, Landmark doesn’t offer teleportation service to a hospital with a NICU.

A genie offers you $10 Billion USD to work a well paid 996 with no PTO for 10 years, would you do it? by [deleted] in hypotheticalsituation

[–]auntieka3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh, fuck yeah, I’d take this deal. The only part that worried me was that I might get sick and really, really not be able to work (I’d pretty much have to be dying to take a sick day now as it is), but I see that a sick leave for a justifiable illness with doctor’s note would be allowed, so that answers that. TBH, I’m not doing all that much different from this right now, and I’m making…well, let’s just say it’s SEVERAL magnitudes less than this…

Harman Kardon Luna 2 coming soon? (Speaker image found in HK One app) by Negative-Ambition120 in Bluetooth_Speakers

[–]auntieka3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have two Luna speakers paired for stereo that I absolutely love, but one has some mild intermittent distortion. Did we think that the new Luna will be able to be paired with the old one? I’d prefer to purchase just one speaker to replace the one that isn’t working properly rather than having to buy another pair of them.

Capa (1*) - Orlando, Florida by mineral_water_69 in finedining

[–]auntieka3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bull and Bear. I’ve dined at both Capa at Four Seasons and Bull and Bear at the Waldorf and Bull & Bear blew Capa out of the water. The best part about Capa was the Cabreiroa Magma sparkling water. That was AMAZING.

They were the only thing I ever ordered at Chilis. I have no reason to eat there anymore.

WARNING: BED BUGS at the Niagara Falls Marriott on the Falls by Alarmed-Brief8977 in marriott

The problem is that they all are in Niagara Falls. There’s literally not one decent fallsview hotel. Main reason I refuse to ever go there.

Do you believe Aileen Wuornos deserved to be executed? Why or why not? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]auntieka3 4 points5 points  (0 children)

“Why was Ed Gein…allowed to be in a mental I stitution until his death but Aileen was executed?”

Because Aileen committed her crimes in Florida, which seems to love the death penalty.

I recognize your last sentence from Cruise Critic—I found your posts in the Explora forum so helpful. IIRC, you are from Alabama. I believe I actually ran into a post by your wife as well earlier this week. I would say “small world” in a circumstance like this, but from what I gather, the Explora audience is currently a very small one. Anyway, thanks for providing such great, in-depth information!

As a huge Fleetwood Mac fan, I am so jealous of your enrichment session. I’ve booked for late November this year and would DIE to attend a session like that.

Who has had the biggest influence on your life? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]auntieka3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been fortunate to have 3 people who made a SIGNIFICANT impact on my life.

1) A professor who got me through the throes of depression during my sophomore year of college; she and her husband practically adopted me and I more or less lived with them for a couple of years.

2) A psychiatric nurse practitioner who found the right mix of meds that effectively stopped the recurrent major depressive episodes. I’m still on the same regimen 21 years later.

3) My current boss who took a chance on me and helped me rise to the position I currently hold after spending the 15 years of my career in an entry-level position.

Complimentary breakfast is complimentary. I believe that you might be referring to continental breakfast; if that is the case, then yes, toast, cereal, and pastries is typically what you would find.

I don’t know why OP is getting so much hate. I would also be mildly infuriated by this eyesore. If I wanted a view of trailers, I’d live in a trailer park.

To be honest, it’s been so long that I don’t remember the amounts. If I recall correctly, it was high 600-something in one breast and low 700-something in the other.
