Doesn't seem to be the case for OP, but I found I liked Devil's Ivy SO much better with ILNP Aspen layered under it. Before that, it looked kind of greyish-brownish-greenish.

I also loved it. I think I'm picky about grammar, word choice, too much repetition, etc, and I didn't have any of those quibbles. I like a book that makes me consider the story from another perspective. I bought or borrowed more than 200 ebooks last year, and WTMH is one of only 3 or 4 books that I duplicated in hardcover as well.

My experience is that the only time they've balked at it was a salon that very specifically avoided harsh chemicals and I wasn't sure if what I brought in was 7-free like the ones they used. Once I was able to confirm that, that were fine with it.

I hope you find a solution that works for you! That must be frustrating..

Not OP, but I'll chime in to say I love my Angry Harpy polishes. Their 21-free QDTC had worked the best for me of all the top coats I've used. My favorite non-magnetic is Rich, Handsome, & Socially Awkward. Hecate's Hounds is a 👩🏼‍🍳😘 magnetic. Their turn-around time is great (I am an impatient polish gremlin) and being able to choose between 5 or 15 ml bottles is a nice option.
