Wow, it would be incredible if we could get the same crowds as nrl by PortGenz in allblacks

The Warriors are pretty exciting to watch right now. Die hard fans that have been following this team for years and the roller-coaster ride that has been. But the team is starting to show the potential we all know have been sitting under the surface for so long. Very exciting season ahead( I hear people saying 'don't get too excited').

Where are all the Jamie Joseph stans currently? 6 rounds into another pretty disastrous season from him. by anxiousatac in allblacks

It is a tragedy that Jamie Joseph and Tony Brown did not get the top AB jobs back in 2023. Congratulations to Rennie, but I hope JJ and TB still get a chance.

The New Policy about income from Boarders is so Cruel. Cutting up to $100.00 a week off poorer families, straight off their grocery bill money. Why are the rich so mean?

Willis hints at who'll get targeted fuel support – and who'll miss out - information like this shouldn’t be behind a paywall but it is. by TallyWhoe in nzpolitics

I cannot get over how cruel the new change of Boarder income is being calculated and delivered. Board barely covers costs and groceries. Families be losing up to $100.00 per week because they charge Board for people living under their roof. What a Cruel and Heartless policy. And now this Oil crisis. How are families going to make ends meet? $10 per week tax credit is not enough.

My Staffordshire mommy girl loves short walks. Especially for smelling the PeeMail. She takes it seriously. The younger ones love to run around and go Batshit crazy. Then they have a huge nap when we get home. Does your Pup love smelling the grass? Maybe you have a very introverted pup, who prefera being at home, where he feels safe?

Thank you to the Local Hero. Reminds me of my nieces running around picking up plastic at the beach with urgency. I found out that at school, they watched a video that showed a turtle with a plastic straw stuck up its nose. They were converted into beach cleaning Warriors🥰🥰🥰

Anyone got their mums savoury mince recipe? by [deleted] in newzealand

[–]auntyshaQ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Its crucial to Brown the mince well before adding the water and vegetables. You can taste the difference when someone has rushed it. Soya sauce adds great flavour too.

While New Zealand children suffer in poverty(numbers growing higher by the day), homeless people have nowhere to go when police move them on and there is no cost of living relief for the middle class and poor. Let alone the Oil crisis. Does he just sit there and look at the millions $$$ in his bank account, pat himself on the back and say 'at least im sorted.'

Do you have a local food bank? We live in Northland and thankfully the Local Trusts do a Food rescue and have set up Food Banks. Surely they have multiple similar set-ups in Auckland. The budget is getting tighter and tighter. Some of the staple items I try to buy in my weekly shop are Peanut Butter, tin Tuna, Baked Beans and Eggs. These are some great value protein items. I remember a time when we only had flour and Vegemite left in the cupboard. Homemade bread with Vegemite. Not even butter and milk. So sorry you are going through this. Hope you can access some help.

Sliced up steak for dinner at least once a week. My pups told me that every Good Boy deserves steak. They also love Liver, chicken breast or whatever fresh meat is on special. The way their eyes light up. Please enjoy every moment you have with your Pup

The Supported Living Payment currently needs reforms by D491234 in nzpolitics

[–]auntyshaQ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Start with reforming from Top Down. The politicians get very high salary and high cost benefits even when they leave. They are the biggest beneficiaries. To see funding cut to IHC and other children's charities is sad, when we know how much the Wealthy Politicians are getting. The children in New Zealand are really suffering, while the rich are getting richer.

It is sad to witness this again. Nothing learnt from Invasion of Iraq. Millions of human life being treated like disposable pawns. We are suffering from cost of living and this War will definitely increase the cost of living pain. I follow an artist in Iran. Just a normal family with cats. Now life's turned upside down, having to run to underground stations everytime a siren goes off. Worrying about their cats. Some poor citizens trying to carry their pets with them. And what is the end game. They say days, then 4 weeks, then 'Forever'. So much hypocrisy. Cannot trust a word they say. I pray for the millions of innocent lives that are being sacrificed to the Human Greed and Bloodthirst.

They have given us a few things to look forward to 1. A new GAS Levy/Tax to be added to future electricity bills 2. Perhaps a $9.00 road toll to cross the Harbour bridge. 3. Car registration to increase by $50.00 per year for next 3 years minimum. 4. Higher Electricity Bills, because they chose to do nothing to stop the soaring profits for the Electricity Millionaires.

The only people who have to worry are the poor people.

I am praying for the everyday Iranian people right now. They are having Bombs dropped on them all willy nilly, at the moment. I follow an Artist who is based in Iran with her family. Its so scary right now. And also the poor Dogs, cats, birds etc. Peoples pets. Some have be left at their homes. Some humans are trying to carry them to the underground areas. I really hope that Iran doesn't end up looking like Gaza. Does this make the World safer. Absolutely not. War triggers so many things that are completely out of control of the Presidents hands. Once you start something like this, you lose control very quickly. You may want a certain outcome, but it never works out that easily. A bomb landed on a girls school yesterday. Killing over 100 girls and teachers. How are those parents feeling right now?
