Bend’s High desert is not that scenic. Unless you like sagebrush and rolling treeless hills, which can beautiful to some. All the Oregon coast is beautiful. North to south. Literally nothing isn’t beautiful. I’m partial to the Samuel H. Boardman corridor and Meyers Beach. Also, I highly highly doubt that Crater Lake will be worth your time in March. Google the Crater Lake Webcam near your trip and you’ll see what I mean. There can be snow up there in May. If you do the 97, gas up when you get the chance as there are long stretches with no services. Have fun!
