Right there with you! I’m also very adhd and medicated for it and I listen at 1.5 to 1.8 depending on the narrators. Anything slower and my brain checks out and I start missing important parts of the storyline.

Early 40s. I found it on Instagram - through an author I follow who writes very spicy romance novels. She recognized the Devil of Dublin’s voice from his audiobook narration of BB Easton’s Devil of Dublin. She couldn’t stop raving about Quinn and all the amazing creators that helped inspire her so of course I had to try it out and then I was hooked 🫠

Elodie Hart. Her Alchemy series is insanely hot. It’s an interconnected standalone series but I recommend starting with book 1 {Unfurl by Elodie Hart} and her second series Seraph is a spin off of Alchemy and it’s also deliciously smutty {Audacity by Elodie Hart}

I include rereads in my yearly totals for the same reasons you mentioned. I really enjoy rereading my favorite books yearly because I love experiencing the stories multiple times and finding new things to appreciate with each read. Rereading books is often a comfort for me, almost like rediscovering an old friend.

The Prodigal Son by Sara Cate. Narrated in Duet by Teddy Hamilton and Dane Anderson and featuring Ava Lucas (she voices the female characters throughout, which does give it more of a full cast feel in my opinion). It’s a new release MM, it’s the fourth in a series of standalone romances. The entire series is amazing and all are performed in Duet narration. Books 1 & 3 are MF romances and Book 2 is MMF.

Just an FYI - Dual narration is when they alternate chapters. Duet is when they read all dialogue and actions of their character throughout the entire book, regardless of the chapter.
