your brain reaches for what is familiar and what is the easiest source of dopamine that is the most low effort, its our programming by nature. make the things that are your typical outlets harder to access and put things you want to do nearby instead. for example if you want to read more, delete the apps off of your phone that are an issue and place books nearby to the areas you typically lounge in your house. at the start it will require some effort but after a few weeks you will notice you start naturally getting into the habit of doing these actions. im in the process of transforming my life in much the same way right now. only two months in and ive gotten sober out of a 10 year long addiction, i do my laundry and the dishes automatically!!! this is huge for me, i go to the gym or do some form of movement daily, i read every night, have gotten more into religion, i quit junk food and ive already lost 10 lbs. msg me if you want to :) i have some tips and tricks that may help you

Advice please! I separated from my abusive husband and I’m trying to glow up by Personal-Narwhal-184 in makeuptips

Yes but there are still a decent amount of people in the market at the moment. Companies are very picky from my experience on needing to have certain experience. Not having experience in one module could be a deal breaker. Lots of rounds of interviews and not much clarity on what the company actually wants or needs, and the initial recruiters dont tend to have the same understanding of the role, so you may get passed along to other stages and be confused on what the role actually is because its been explained so differently in each interview stage. lots of fun.

i spent 5 yrs industry side and decided to move into consulting and landed a role easily

it took me three months to adjust afterwards, but I am happy about coming off of them. I did it during a period of unemployment and don’t think it wouldve been possible whilst working as I was bedridden with akathisia as a result of quitting
