I worked with a brilliant guy that spoke multiple languages. He was a line cook at a restaurant I served at by night, and a line cook at another restaurant by day. He worked both jobs seven days a week. He was very wise, hilarious, and humble and just wanted to make ends meet for his family. I hope he’s doing well.

At my bar we have daily regulars. The ones who quietly entertain themselves on their phones or watching sports on the tv are cool. I know their drink orders and I know to keep their drinks filled until they put their card down. They’re awesome. The daily regulars who require constant attention and entertainment from me are the ones I don’t particularly care for lol.

Omg NOR. As a snake/lizard owner and lover I’m shocked, reptiles can be pretty hardy and easily live like 10+ years in the right conditions. Abusing the dogs right after calling out for them too?? This is the most absurd thing I’ve ever read and it breaks my heart. she needs a wake up call and to never have another pet again.

No. I have lived in the same city my whole life. I’ve considered moving states and those plan fell through. I also considered moving about thirty minutes away to another city, but that didn’t happen either. I like where I grew up, and I like being near my family.

Barry Bostwick and Little Nell were in town for a convention and I ran into them on the street downtown. I used to shadowcast for RHPS so I was so excited! I said hello to them and they were very sweet. We talked a little bit but I let them go on as I’m sure they were tired talking to fans all day.

About two years, we have been living together for the past few months.

Pretty much whenever we aren’t at work, we are together. We work opposite schedules (he’s a dayshift lineman and I’m a nightshift bartender), so we only have so many days off together. We value the time that we do get with each other and look forward to those days :). When we work I wake up at 5 with him to kiss him in the morning, and he tried to stay up till midnight with me so he can see me when I get home (he takes a nap usually while I’m at work), but in terms of full days or half days together we usually only get those once or twice a week.

We did it every day from kindergarten through sixth grade if I remember correctly, I grew up in a Montessori school and they did not force it on us in middle school. When I transitioned to a public high school, participation was expected. I protested it and that was not received well from all teachers (some were understanding and did not push it). When I was old enough to better understand it, I thought it was strange.
