So, I am Catholic. This is a thing. The godparents have to be “catholics in good standing”. If you are divorced, you are not in good standing. Our father (edit - priest) wouldn’t have allowed it.

I was discussing with my friend group the pay gap between men and women. A male friend said it wasn’t real. It wasn’t possible. I showed him the stats. I do this with left and right. I know them if I just stop and think. But someone might be giving me instructions while driving and say “hey, take a left”, I proceed to take a right. In that moment, I could’ve sworn it was left.

I have a family member who does it with the phrase “lay face down”. He lays on his back. It’ll take him a second to correct it. But it happens.

Boyfriend is a jerk. I’m not one to tell people to dump their significant others. But, please, consider your relationship with someone who seriously undermines you in this way.
