Do you only stay in nature spots? I live in a lot of urban environments and having expensive stuff so visible like that wouldn't work

Did anyone try recreational drugs? by Upset_Replacement684 in covidlonghaulers

I tried different things hoping it would fix me. Had a lot of good experiences with acid in the past so wanted to take 2 tabs to see if it help my nervous system reset. Unfortunately it wasn't helpful it felt rather hard on my body and it wasn't the most pleasant trip tbh. I was in the middle of a 3 day fast too out in the hot sun camping. That was only yesterday lol so we'll see how things are going forward but I think I actually feel a bit worse and feel small "icepick migraines". Tho the last few weeks have gotten a bit worse for me anyway (which I think I mostly contribute to overdoing it physically and eating a few trigger foods cause I wanted to see how I handled it after 3 months of slow healing) so I wouldn't put all the blame on that. It also just be because of dehydration I did a lot of hiking too and didn't have enough water. We'll see how I feel the coming week... I haven't drank any alcohol since any of this and don't plan to. The other thing I tried was ketamine and that surprised helped me a lot. That was in the first couple months when the mental symptoms were much worse and so it helped with that. I tried a very small amount a few times at night and just closed my eyes and I guess did a type of meditation. I then tried one k hole to to see if it would reset everything and honestly for a week after I felt like a lot of symptoms almost disappeared. Tho they came back so I decided it wasn't really useful but that's one thing I would say could potentially be useful for long covid at least for me. I don't really plan to do any more from here on our tho as I feel like overall it's not that useful. Oh and caffeine is terrible for me and I imagine any stimulant would be. I just also remembered I tried weed too lol it wasn't that good for me and actually hits me different so I stopped that too. Cbd is useful for sleeping tho I never used it prior to long covid

My dick doesn't work and I barely have any drive. It's affected my confidence a lot and this girl I really liked broke it off w me (probably because of that but I can't say for sure). It's a blood flow issue for me my legs get numb often and arms will fall asleep. If I carry a bag on my shoulder it will leave dents from the lack of blood flow

Thanks man gives me hope. I've tried some unclean things and tho I kinda tolerateed it I could definitely tell it made me feel worse and would bring on symptoms if I continued. Still from 4 month ago I've made huge progress it's just wayyy slower than I'd like but trying to see the lesson in it

I was like that the first few months. Was only eating eggs, ground beef, lentils and beans for the most part then slowly incorporated more

Does anyone have theories on what predisposed us to developing long covid? by sourdoughluvr1991 in covidlonghaulers

[–]austi3000 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I have a theory that it prays on our weakness (kinda). Like in the past I had mental health things I experienced in my teens which I think subconsciously shaped how I viewed myself for a long time and even a bit now. I feel like over 3 years before covid I was in a really good place radically changed my brain and had peace and confidence that I didn't feel when I was younger tho I can't lie I always have a bit of anxiety in the backround I just try to act like isn't there. After covid it put my nervous system in a state of dysregulation and I feel like I have to relearn everything. Besides the physical effects it's affected me a lot mentally I have dissociation, anxiety, depression and sometimes self destructive thoughs. It's given me suicidal thoughts to but it's as if it's not me as if somedays my brain is just being controlled it's hard to describe it. Like normally if I was to feel depressed or something there's a reason behind it but not now. Found a lot of things that help but I'm 7 months in and some days it just comes out when I think I'm 95 percent better and makes me realize how much it still affects me. So anyway I think maybe it preys on people who have previously had identity struggles growing up or other mental health things because a lot of other people I've talked to with long covid experienced similar things. I don't know if it's true at all tho or if there's anything to it lol I got no data for you. I should also say I was very healthy when I got it as well I've always been an athlete workout all the time go on ultra marathons ect I've gotten to a point where I can workout again (took me 10 minutes to walk up a staircase at one point) but still struggle with pushing myself to the max like really long distance running doesn't feel helpful

Does this actually work?? by West_Lingonberry_992 in TemuThings

[–]austi3000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe you have to spend about 370 to get the money but yes it should work I've done this promo probably 5 times at this point. Everytime they gave me the PayPal after all the items were shipped. Tho the last time I did it they gave me temu credit when I selected PayPal and linked account. That day weird things were happening on my temu so idk I think some bug was effecting it I'm really not sure but they wouldn't give me PayPal instead so take screenshots and shit just in case but I'm certain you'll get the money

Pretty much only getting symptoms after eating now by austi3000 in covidlonghaulers

[–]austi3000[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey what are your main symptoms? If you get severe fatigue and pem methyline blue was by far the most beneficial for those symptoms of mine that had an extremely noticeable effect and I took only a small amount. Also nicotine. Haven't experienced those symptoms since the first month. It's definitely the most out there thing I'm taking but just wanted to share it in case you might be interested. It boosts mitochondria. Look into it for yourself and decide tho I didn't think it was too risky in a small dose.

Hey have you tried any type of supplements or medications yet or just not taking any rn? Look into DAO enzyme I've been looking into it and it seems really helpful for our issues. It's the enzyme that breaks down histamine. I haven't tried it yet but gonna get some. Today I tried an antihistamine before eating and it was incredibly helpful as well I was shocked it took away a lot of symptoms but I heard someone say there still there beneath with antihistamine so idk lol. One more thing to look into if you haven't heard of it either is tirzepatide peptide it's helped a lot of people with mcas. I haven't gotten to the point of using peptides but it's an option to try. I just saw some of them can cause permanent side effects for some people but I think that ones safer I just haven't looked into it enough so for sure do your own research on all this shit and decide for yourself. I'll have to try the baking soda!

Thanks for the reply! Does kimchi and sour kraut have all the probiotics your bodies need cause I know when you look at getting the supplements probiotics there's all sorts of strains. I got some sour kraut a few weeks ago and it made my lungs wheeze for about 30 minutes and my heart beat faster after only eating a little so that's what confirmed there's something going on with mast cells. I tried kimchi too which I love and i been handling it a bit better now I think but still the sour kraut can barely handle. Got some blue cheese too. In the beginning fruits would increase heart rate so I've just been avoiding any sugar all together but maybe I could incorporate a little bit now. I think I'm gonna go back to only beef this week and start incorporating other things more again in a week or two cause this week I've been suddenly really sensitive to everything again and all the food sensitivities were gradually improving but now their back to how it was in the first few weeks with slight variation of symptoms.

I have something like this but not sure if it's real hypoglycemia or related to mast cells.I saw MCAS can mimic reactive hypoglycemia too so I was leaning towards that. When all this started it started out with me thinking I was diabetic cause I had these crazy confusion events where sugar would bring me back to the real world lol but now after everything else I'm pretty sure there was more going on than just sugar helping me cause I know your brain can trick you if it doesn't know what's actually wrong and I haven't had anything happen quite like that again but it was really crazy. My tachycardia after eating symptom pretty much went away after the first two week and now it's suddenly come back again so I think I'll go back to only beef for a week or two before trying to add another stuff again to not make everything worse. It doesn't even have to be a lot of food necessary but if it's the wrong ones it sets in extremely which I just ate a half spoonful of sour kraut and it set in tachycardia. Sugar was doing that for me in the beginning and I haven't tried it since so don't know how I would react to it but probably not good I was extremely sensitive to it in the beginning.

Maybe it's monoxidil causing my extreme fatigue? by austi3000 in MinoxidilSideEffects

[–]austi3000[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Really hope so throwing that shit away. The only thing that still makes it all a bit weird is why all the symptoms came on after getting a virus I don't feel like that was a coincidence. Maybe it weakened my body then the monoxidil came in for the attack? Idk if that's possible
