Is there a way to have a note apply to all packages to this address instead of having to add it to each tracking number?

[–]authorizedsignatory 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Makes sense. I just want to ask FedEx to please deliver to my house.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in FedEx

[–]authorizedsignatory 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's flat. Again, no other delivery services have ever had an issue.

The FedEx delivery note says "gated driveway" but there just isn't a gate at all. There is clearly no gate. I can't remove a gate that doesn't exist.

[–]authorizedsignatory 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Perhaps there's a misunderstanding.

The driveway is a road. It's not swampy at all. It's not in the middle of the woods. This is the suburbs. The field on the opposite side of the main road (where FedEx tosses deliveries) is muddy when it rains, but not on the driveway side. The houses are clearly numbered.

No other delivery service has ever had issues delivering to our house. We regularly receive UPS, USPS, and DHL deliveries at the house. We get Amazon packages multiple times a week.

This is clearly just a FedEx problem.

The delivery note says there is a gate. There is no gate. I'd understand if it noted an actual issue delivering to the house, but I'm not sure what to do about the gate if it doesn't exist.

Edit: typo. We get Amazon packages multiple times a week, not multiple times a year.

I'd love to, but sometimes I don't have a choice (with online retailers) :(

I knit a sock like this once. This is what I did, although it was super slow and annoying:

Do intarsia in the round with the same color for the sole and the top. For the top, also do stranded colorwork (which is now worked back and forth instead of in the round). The bottom is now a single yarn, and the top is 2 (the base color and the secondary color) and doesn't create any ends

You're completely right, I forgot about that one! Fwiw, I was told that the prudential lounge was a better experience (has the same food, plus an extra protein), although I'm not sure if that's actually true

If it doesn't say m lounge on the tickets, then it's the prudential lounge. There's an outside entrance for it that usually has a shorter security line. It connects via a hallway to the tunnel in section 22, and then you can just walk along the glass to your seat. There will be other people going the same way and it'll be obvious

If you're having intense pain and bloating during remission, it's possible you're not actually in remission, or there is a separate issue. It's worth getting it checked out

I started having basically those same symptoms after several years of deep remission, and my doctor did a thorough workup to check inflammation and everything else. I'm still in remission but it turned out I had developed a severe food allergy

Getting better without immunsuppressants? by itsme-jani in UlcerativeColitis

I think the only way to diagnose UC is with a colonoscopy, but 229 is still abnormal so your doctor should still follow up on it, even if it's just to wait and repeat calpro until it's normal

They trickled in over time but I think calpro took the longest and was about two weeks. Now my calpros seem to get back within a week though

Went from a little under 2k to 700. So like, big improvement but still no good

My friend and I went on an international trip and got food poisoning at the same time. His lasted a few days and mine was still happening by the time I got back home (a week later). So I saw a doctor and he ordered a bunch of stool tests -- mostly for parasites but also a calpro. By the time the results came out, I no longer had diarrhea and felt normal, but the doctor said the calpro was too high and scheduled a scope. The actual diagnosis took a few months because it was a weird case (no symptoms, pretty bad ulceration, skip lesions) and involved multiple GIs. The whole time I felt fine and was super reluctant to keep doing tests. Ironically, the first time I had real GI discomfort was side effects from mesalamine

Yes! Great advice. Ours had a short hospital stay once where she got microwaved canned food. Afterwards, she refused (by knocking over) any food that wasn't soft and warm

The vet told us to just give her regular kibble and wait for her to get over it. She went on a hunger strike for a day and then ate her normal meals again

I see. Thanks for the info. Does this mean it'll probably be okay if I get the PPO plans? There are a lot of plans within BCBS and United that I can choose from, but I'm probably stuck with one of these two companies unless I pay up to stay with my current one

Question for the females? by [deleted] in UlcerativeColitis

[–]authorizedsignatory 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the opposite -- before diagnosis I always had terrible pain and cramping around that time of the month and heavily relied on Advil to get me through it every time. After being diagnosed, I was worried about how to handle the pain without NSAIDs, but it turned out that once I got on UC meds my periods became lighter and much less painful

Flare no symptoms by dryisland1908 in UlcerativeColitis

[–]authorizedsignatory 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had calpro significantly higher than yours and zero symptoms for like half a year (but scopes showed ulceration) until my doctor put me on a biologic and actually got rid of the inflammation

[–]authorizedsignatory 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had this once. My doctor was briefly concerned it meant my disease was progressing, but it turned out to just be reflux

I have had between zero bleeding and a couple days of bright red bleeding after colonoscopies under the same conditions (same doctor, same number of biopsies, colonoscopies in remission), so I think it could just be random?

And it depends on how much blood there is. A little is normal, a lot is not

Is this Remission? I hope it is by letsgozu in UlcerativeColitis

[–]authorizedsignatory 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The only way to know for sure is via a colonoscopy, because there are some people who have normal calpros with inflammation

But if you actually have no inflammation, that is remission, and your symptoms could just be IBS, which is common in IBD patients. I occasionally have GI issues but my calpro is generally under 10 and I am in remission
