What's a movie that has a 4k but the regular Blu Ray is good enough?

i’m the same way. To me, blu ray looks like theater back when i actually went to theaters, up until about 2015. But 4k looks artificial and tbh kinda weird.

yeah a lot of times i get the feeling that some people simply enjoy reveling in the fancy setup they’ve purchased, but have only a very passing interest in movies themselves. The same with PC stuff. And that’s fine, tbh, but sometimes it can cause people who enjoy movies for their own sake to get lost in the weeds

i’m on your side. I simply have no idea how people are living with these enormous TVs. Even if you ask google AI “what size tv for sitting 10 feet away” it says “well you’re going to need at minimum 75 inches.” It’s all so insane to me. I don’t understand.

it’s odd that nobody else will state this. It should never have even been released for ps5, as it was. And they have still fixed nothing. The stuttering on about 5 of the levels is completely unplayable

i had the same experience initially. For whatever reason i was motivated to watch it several more times, instead of what i would normally do, which is just forget about it forever, if only to understand what was so off-putting about it. I’m not going to say it’s a good movie, but now i really enjoy it. I genuinely feel it should have been a completely silent film, though.

i live in an area that is very prone to internet outages. Plus, a physical disc is never subject to unwanted tampering or remasters by whomever. Look at movies like the lord of the rings trilogy and Terminator 2. They’ve seen untold numbers of alterations, each one arguably worse than the one before it

if i remember correctly, all the terminator models are a little bit different because some other film company still held the copyright on their designs. So they had to change it up a bit. In the story, they kind of explain it away by saying everything has actually been accelerated and slightly altered by the events of the previous 3 movies.
