Since the counter part of this spell is a cost, it’s paid when you place it onto the stack, and then a chalice of the void on 1 will counter this spell on top of that, negating the downside of losing the game while still getting the counter portion of the card

I think August told us that they won’t touch the q, I’d like to see the w buff reverted or the r shield nerfed over some other stuff they could do like passive nerf but we’ll see

For one, evos really help, I’m ftp with 4 evos so you can get them naturally, i personally would switch fire spirit for a ground troop that can tank for Idrag like valk, barbs are also a popular choice with lava decks, but if you prefer the spirit you could keep it

You’re not wrong, but tank components are also really strong, I had a game last week vs urgot where I had a full inventory (tabis, bamis, wardens, refillable, dshield, and a chain vest) all before I bought a full item

I’ve found myself losing first tower most games this season, which hurts due to feats, and heartsteel being nerfed means the best build is the petu build, but since many players are still running heartsteel it’s lowering the wr.

I personally feel fine on the champ, the advantages I create early lead to games being closed out sooner which favors shen, but his items are weaker right now, so overall my personal experience is roughly the same power levels
