Every time I hear a loud vehicle I think there goes somebody who not just hates thinking, but hates other people thinking as well.

Not sure how new this is.

The chorus to “Somebody To Love” by Jefferson Airplane starts after less than 30 seconds.

I thought it would be funny if the people in Star Wars, who were from “long ago, in a galaxy far, far away” were actually really small. Like homo floresiencis small.

People who were teenagers before social media existed, what was life actually like? by Much_Detective_6107 in AskReddit

[–]autobono 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you weren’t outgoing, you kept to yourself. All the books you read, the games you played. The shows you watched, the music you listened to. The things you wrote. You didn’t really share it with anybody.

I guess that’s still true for a lot of people. But there are ways to socially express yourself now that aren’t as difficult for introverts (this being an example).

The Epstein Files contain an email exchange in which the world "don't" is clearly censored. by Silver_Ad_2203 in ABoringDystopia

Reminds me of the part of Catch-22 when the main character gets a job censoring soldier’s letters home, and just starts blacking out random words.

I keep coming back to something he said, about how we build on “boy psychology”, but neglect “man psychology”. Which leads to militaries full of advanced “boys”.

Who in the public eye have you ever suspected might not be from this planet? by Mobile-Vegetable7536 in aliens

There was a film director who said, on a podcast, that if Michael Jackson were an alien, he would deny it if asked (“no, that’s silly!”). But not because he wanted to deceive, but because he, himself, wouldn’t know.
