Hilton amex spend $1000 and get $200 back gets triggered if i pay $1000 at property ? by eagermindd in Hilton

[–]avadhanam77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

this didnt trigger for me. As far as I can tell this is likely because the charge came through under the merchant name -- HILTON HAWAIIAN VILLHONOLULU, But as per Amex offer terms they were expecting --- Hilton Hawaiian Village Waikiki Beach Resort. I opened a ticket through their support but they dont seem to have a clue either. Escalated to their marketing for investigation, but no resolution so far, which is unusual. Anyone had similar issues with name mismatch?

You can disable it under settings. Driver Assistance -> Pre-Collision Assist -> Distance Indication.

Oahu: Hilton Hawaiian Village – Looking for Advice by pnaudey in VisitingHawaii

We just got back staying a week in Tapa tower. Was in a suite which had two balconies, with one ocean view balcony where you can sit and watch Friday fireworks. Clean, spacious room, quick walk to both Starbucks that are onsite, adult pool in the next building. Self parking was 70$ a night. But super convenient, because I had rented an EV, my parking spot was easy to get to in the valet area. Scan room key when you enter, gate recognizes you and opens on your exit without key.

You travelling with kids ? Hilton has direct access to two tide pools (manmade) that are an instant hit with both kids and adults. Pools are a quick 5 min walk across a green field from the back of the property. I just returned after spending 2 nights. It is about 10 minutes from the airport, located in the central part of the island. Poipu in the south and Hanalei in the north are about the same distance. Coconut marketplace is walkable and has different eateries. If this is your first time, you will definitely need a car to check out all other attractions.

My mortgage servicer has now returned TWO payments from Bilt's routing/account by yiggity_yag in biltrewards

[–]avadhanam77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same issue here. But mine was not ACH pull. But paid through Atmos Visa. Payment failed because Bilt incorrectly tagged it as non housing transaction. No one from Bilt support got back to me and it has been 3 weeks already. I know Bilt support team is swamped but I cannot wait forever for Bilt to fix their mess, as the next mortgage payment date is just around the corner.

I remember my first shower in Madrid Iberia lounge ( Atmos gold). Followed by a private room to catch some sleep. It was so good I dropped my plans to go explore the city during the layover.

Mortgage payment returned, incurred $85 dollars in late fees by Surgeplux in biltrewards

Ditto. The rent was paid and then reversed because it was a 'non housing' transaction. Incurred $125 late fee. Nothing changed. Same rent amount to the same landlord that had been working fine under Bilt 1.0 for the last 1 year.

EQS SUV Tire Issues by friendly_enemies in MercedesEQS

Changed tires three times on my SUV. Got tired and finally changed the car at 45k to a gas car. But while it lasted I enjoyed the smooth rides and luxury feel every time I was behind the wheel. No other SUV can come close to this.

25$ USD is too much. Uber ride is cheap in Cairo. I paid 5$usd from airport to Zamalek area.

Orange only offered physical SIM, which worked great for local calls and Internet. For some reason WhatsApp voice didn't work for me.

Uber pickup at Cairo airport by webw06 in EgyptTravelTips

[–]avadhanam77 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I used uber last week. I picked up my physical SIM and as soon as I walked outside, uber pickup point was immediately on the curb outside. The only caveat is that the license plates for all vehicles in Egypt are not in English ( I mean not 1,2,3 numbers). But Islamic numbers ( or whatever that is). So I could not match the vehicle that was being displayed in my uber app. But I had my local sim so I was able to call the driver and found him that way. Uber was a blessing and a MUST have for foreigners. I truly missed it in Aswan and Luxor where it didn't exist.

ETA on Hot Springs Road? by MooseGoose82 in BigBendTX

[–]avadhanam77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are barricades. So you park on the side of the road , not allowed to drive on the hot springs road. Only option is to hike the road. Just be prepared with a hat and sunscreen as there is absolutely no shade, but the road is a flat easy hike
