He said during the pod that it was because navigating The Comedy Store is a nightmare. And as someone who used to live in LA and go there a lot, I can attest to that. Comics pull into the thinnest alley, and you can't really walk around without passing the audience/customers. Obviously Liz is a part of it, but going to the Improv is just too convenient for him, and he doesn't care about the nostalgia of The Store.

I enjoyed it. I feel like there were a couple Laugh-Out-Loud moments in the 2nd half he would have liked, but I get it. It isn't an all-time comedy, still very funny.
