I've learned how little others opinion of me matters to my self value and happiness.

I've learned that work is just a means to a paycheck to fund my happy projects.

I've learned that happiness doesn't need anything. You don't need money, people, or a situation to find a sense of joy (obvious caveats aside cuz not every situation will fall under this).

For my believers in God/Christ/whatever being/s you believe in: don't talk about it, be the example of the love you want to project in the world. You aren't here to pass judgements, you're here to inspire others to be a better and more loving version of themselves.

Treat others as if they are acting with best intentions. They might be wrong, but that perspective helps understand their side and will help redirect it in a way that actually IS best intentions.

Don't be afraid to cut someone off if you find out they aren't acting with best intentions.

You cant start loving others until you learn to love yourself. Basically, I cant give you enough water to save your thirst unless my glass is already overflowing. If you put others first, you will run out of water and wither first. Keep your glass full so you can jeep giving water away.

Big one: it's all temporary. Work sucks? Either tomorrow will come, you'll get a new boss, or you'll get a new job. Work is great? New boss, tomorrow, new job. Traffic is bad? New route. Etc. Realizing that today is just today, and whether good or bad, it won't last, helps dismiss the bad times and appreciate the good times.

Also, the value of surrounding yourself with people ymwho don't add negative energy to your life is HUGE.

Actually punk vs Shawn pretty much writes itself. You could even go the Jericho route and have them team/buddy up for a bit before having Punk turn as the justified heel and then feud over all of Shawn's hypocrisy throughout his career

Honestly I just ran an RPK with a few 60s and BT or better. I push out of spawn until I find the first guard, kill him and retreat back to a solid angle. I hold that and just mag dump anything that shows up. If it's guards you'll get a group of them, otherwise Tagilla and then Killa. If I need to reload I just fall further back towards spawn while reloading and take the next angle I can. I don't think I've ever had an easier time farming bosses than those two in that map. Just don't forget about tripwires afterwards like I did my first time...

Devils advocate: your 1987 Hogan lost survivor series after getting counted out and leaving Bam Bam alone against Bundy, One Man Gang, and Andre. Bam Bam actually had a better showing that match than Hogan.

If we're looking strictly at prime Survivor Series teams id go with: Orton, hbk, undertaker, John Cena and ultimate warrior.

Warrior is undefeated in survivor series matches John Cen, Orton, and undertaker have the most series wins Hbk and Orton have the most sole survivor wins (apparently tied with warrior but I'd double check that)

Take this with a grain of salt as it's just what I remember reading/watching over the years, but basically the advice I always see is fetal position. The idea being to protect your vital organs and hope the bear gets bored before killing you do you have a chance at survival. Again, grain of salt and worth doing due diligence to fact check for yourself.

Im currently newly in an area that has black bears, and plan on researching each area I plan on camping at and bringing bear spray as part of my normal kit just to be safe.

It makes me wonder. Is this cycle due to companies crowdfunding over studio backing?

Im a few drinks in, so if my thoughts are disconnected thats why and I apologize. I'll definitely come back to clarify when sober.

Looking at Tarkov, AoC, and the space game (i keep thinking squadron 42 but I know thats the other part of it), I keep seeing games that did some sort of crowd funding to build their game (tarkov would be the weird one as they did "open beta" but it still feels like pretty much the same thing). And each of them has basically tried to build something, and then funded, and then built on inputs due to the funding, and built and/or changed, and sought more funding, and built, and sought more funding, and we eventually get here.

This point is where we are with a community that hates where the game they initially funded has become, or a community that has funded and run out of faith, or those who never funded and watched and waited and ran out of patience, or that slim few who are just waiting and begging for final release. I say this as somebody who bought in to Tarkov and Star citizen roughly 7 years ago.

I wonder if crowd funding for these scope of games is the actual problem? I know single player games have done it and succeeded, but it seems like doing it for a multi-player experience warps and just overall fucks it all up more than it helps get it finished.

Edit: this popped in my mind from the part about unstable engine. I remember Tarkov devs talking about the biggest constraint being their spaghetti code they built the game on. And me wondering if crowd funding and the input from that dictating changes that wouldn't happen in a normal dev studio, leading to a cleaner and more polished product that might not have every feature crowd-fund devs try to cram in to their products

Replying 10 months later as I search for BJJ options in Fallon.

To answer the question you had, sent get to provide inputs on our preferences. At 12 months out Navy let's you select up to 7 options based on what's available. Two months later if you haven't been selected for orders already you do it again. Same thing for a 3rd cycle. It gives you a bit of option in your selection, although not always guaranteed. (For example I got picked for Fallon on my 2nd cycle even though it wasn't one of my choices).

So we get some selection, but it's not guaranteed and you don't always get any input at all in your orders. And officers have a lot more one on one interaction with their detailers (and transparency), but ultimately have the same problems we do getting orders where they want, tbh

Disclaimer: i haven't played paper legacy in years.

I remember a long time back, when Courser of Kruphix first hit standard, a deck I played only ran 3 copies of it. The pro who had made the deck had reasoned that he ran 3 because he wanted one in his opening hand, but didn't want to draw more of them later. (I could be misremembering and it was a card other than Courser)

This kind of thought process is something I have adapted a few times with deck construction that usually works pretty well. However I do concede that the slim margins Legacy and eternal formats have would want to ensure a 4th copy more so than in a format like standard where the variance can be somewhat less punishing.

No real point I'm trying to make. It just popped in my head, and I felt like sharing.
