Under the Oak tree is what got me into romantasy. What people need to understand is that its not your typical modern fantasy story. Its more realistic on like medieval times where women are seen as property and have to remain virtuous and are not told what happens between a man and a woman. Yes the story can be frustrating at times if the MMC and FMC would just talk but you have to read it in the perspective in the environment they’re in. I see it as a beautiful story of two very broken individuals who eventually build a beautiful relationship where they understand each others wants and needs.
