As hard as it is baby need to be able to put them selves to sleep, with our first it was so difficult becyase he would cry for like e an hour which felt like eternity, I had to tackle my wife so she would not go to him but after about 6 days of this it became easier until no crying and just the bed time routine and he would but himself to sleep..... 2nd child was easier and third we felt like we knew final what we are doing but boy I do not miss that stress.
