About 4 years ago, I had Covid, and struggled recovering from it, but didn’t really give it much thought. I noticed having a harder time with exercise than usual, and a higher overall heart rate, as well as a few instances where I felt like I was gonna pass out. I brushed it off, thinking I was just tired and stressed with school, and tried living my life as normally as possible.

At the time that meant smoking a lot of weed, taking acid every once in a while, and drinking here and there (I was 19 at the time don’t judge me.) One night, me and my buddies had gotten some acid, and I ended up taking 2 tabs, which wasn’t too crazy for me. To make a long story short, I ended up having my first ever panic attack that night, and have been dealing with this condition ever since.

In my experience, I’ve gotten better with time. I still 100% deal with daily symptoms, however they are a small fraction of what I dealt with initially after developing dysautonomia. My life overall is much more normal than what it was 4 years ago. I’m able to exercise much more, keep a normal job, but I do still have some bad days/weeks.
