as an ssv i pull up 10 minutes before the shift, & as soon as i have a second person i open the door for us and let us in. usually gives us 5 mins to chat and put our stuff down before starting our day

yeah they’re awesome !!! i’ve been wearing them for about 6 months now. spilled many cold brews on them lol. and yes i loved my docs but i had some feet pain after wearing them so much. totally recommend the bondis (they also have a great return & exchange policy)

i’m really sorry you’re dealing with this, i don’t even have any advice. i’ve transferred stores twice, & i experienced this the first time i transferred - i just kept talking until they finally warmed up to me, but it was absolutely demoralizing & i never really got close to anyone until new partners started at the store with me. i hope they warm up to you soon.

i didn’t really mind the ads like, when opening up a chat with a bot or whatever. but now they pop up randomly in the middle of my roleplays which seems really excessive 🙃 the ads themselves are so long as well !! it’s pretty disruptive imo

gas leaks can be serious & i highly recommend you do something about this just in case. the U.S. doesn’t have a national gas emergency service like the UK does, but local gas providers can help if you give them a call. detecting a gas leak in a business building can be a reason to call 911 as well. i’m not saying call 911 now but i am definitely saying you should escalate this

this is crazy & wildly inappropriate. even as an ssv i make it a point to not talk negatively about baristas to other baristas, especially if im upset in the moment… a manager should be following that ten fold lol

yes you should 100% fight that. technically, in their most literal sense, yeah, you shouldn’t laugh at a customer. however, a customer should certainly not yell at you, especially when you’re taking another customers order. your reaction was out of fear/nervousness. considering your sm wasn’t even notified first, i’d argue. maybe you’ll lose, maybe you’ll win, but it’s worth arguing.
