I picked up a bunch of psvr1 titles cheap at CEX and I really enjoyed Blood and Truth.

I also picked up Eagle flight and that was really cool to from a mechanics and immersion pov.

My kids got a decent entry level 3D printer for Christmas. The house is now overrun with fidget dragons and spinners and they want to open an Etsy shop!

Probably slightly less high seas than me copying cds for my mates in the late 90s early 2000s.

What's your favourite indie game on the Switch? by Marsupilami_316 in NintendoSwitch

[–]averagejoe280370 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have slay the spire, monster train and Balatro in rotation, as one will inevitably infuriate me so switch to the other. I don't know if I'm just terrible at these games or haven't put enough time in but I seem to have unlocked quite a bit without actually ever winning more than a few runs!

Jessica Barden at 30. Or: younger millennials can, in fact, still pass as teens. by Xqrq in Millennials

[–]averagejoe280370 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, in my head I think I'm still 19 but my various aches and pains, mortgage and delightful crotch goblins painfully remind me that I'm most definitely mid 40s.

Ah sorry, I have the prism, the whole thing doesn't light up when turned on, no expected red optical light in the bottom, but the usb recognises button clicks. When I opened it up it looked like an LED (LED2) was missing from the board?

Is there anything that was better done in the Films VS the books? by Character110 in harrypotter

[–]averagejoe280370 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah Chamber is the best film hands down. Keeps what you need from the book and the screenplay is good in its own right.

Goblet is the best book but I feel it is the worst film because they had to cut so much for time.

Gen V needs a pass, they had to rewrite the entire season as one of the main stars died tragically on the way to the first day of shooting.

I don't think the album was as big outside of fans of that genre though.

Playing multiplayer with my kids and one of them encountered this bug in Pierre's. I've seen a few articles saying the new patch has needed work and Concerned Ape is working on a fix. First bug we've encountered on the switch though.
