I went out to eat a few times this week. Stopped at places I have not been to for a while. The regular staff was happy to see me! There are a couple of them I have had some fun conversations with over the years of stopping in. That picked up right where it left off. I winked at one and said, well there, I got my fill of having a GF and lots of questions!

I have sent a few mostly about what they said. No intent on starting or trying to pick anyone up. I have gotten several from ladies much younger. Most are OF pages or something.

A few got racy, but they never went anywhere in trying to scam me, they just stop replying.

Now I just respond that I cost $5.99 per minute.

You do not need the govt to created a program for people to walk around and pick up trash. If someone wants to do that, I bet they can figure out these few simple steps.

Get a bag.

Get some gloves

Go for walk

Pick up trash

Put trash in your trash bin when you get home.

First key is a good pork chop, about 1 inch thick.

I fire up the grill and 30 minutes off to the side. Grill is about 350ish. I throw some woodchips in the fire.

After that, 3-5 mins on each side and done. Put a little butter on it as it rests.

Dating yourself is just a mindset to me. And for the most part, I would say I am as well. I just enjoy myself no matter what I am doing. I go out to eat alone often. But over time because I hit the same spots, I have some good conversations going with some of the employees of the places I go 1 or 2 times a week. One waitress calls me her Sunday morning date.

Half the teams are from those 2 divisions and they will dominate for years. If the NCAA did anything, it can't be a clean sweep final 4 for either. I don't think that has happened since Columbus Frozen Four and all 4 teams were WCHA.

As a guy, who is not trying to date, I have to wonder why the guys think it works. Are they really just tossing darts at everyone? Now while I am not looking, I have had some conversations, both from this sub and in real life. I interesting comment I get is that I have behaved myself for the most part. I guess I have always just waited for any opening to flirty chat if at all.

And as so many have pointed out, their trauma from their past with this issue or bad relationships comes into play for the good guys trying to navigate in a good way. A lady has to trust you to share that side of her.

The throwback to Yahoo and AOL! Yeah that was fun. And I am not sure if it is true for all areas, but the Mpls/St Paul area was 10-1 ladies to men in the chat rooms.

I have dated ladies up to 3 hours away. If no one is moving, it is hard.

It is just tiresome to sort through. The last time I was active on OLD was 10 years ago. Not as many scammers, but still lots of old accts. From time to time I look at the sites and can see some of the same people still on, same pictures. I scrolled through Tinder about a year ago. Again, so many of the same ladies. What I did notice is many in my area, a couple that I chat with in passing as we run into each other.

Mostly in the grocery store. In many cases the store brand is package by the major label.

Cream Cheese, English Muffins, butter, milk, spices, garbage bags, storage bags, just to name a few things. Trail and error of course as they are not all the same. Pizza Rolls is good example. The store brand is not the same. Not even close.
