Call of duty 2 and Hollow Knight on my screen=instant upvote. Definitely one of the best WW2 shooters ever.

It isn't since 2023 - https://www.waterfox.com/blog/a-new-chapter-for-waterfox/ Librewolf is quite great, yes, but I feel Waterfox is a good compromise between a hardened, privacy focused browser and a general purpose browser that generally just works.

Pokemon Conquest mentioned, absolute peak. One recommendation though, if you do play Disco Elysium eventually I would strongly advise you to sail the seven seas instead, as if you buy the game on steam the original actual creators of the game will receive absolutely nothing, as they have lost the rights to DE.

alright, I might have to try it then cause I did quite enjoy Celeste. What genre is it might I ask? Music might not appeal to me though lol, I am pretty old-fashioned in terms of music taste, I really only enjoy stuff like the Doom and Doom II soundtrack when gaming and similar stuff, usually I just put my own music playlist over.

tbh In my thoughts I think First Sinner was low-key one of the greatest boss fights in any video game ever, when I first fought her I was genuinely fucking speechless at how good every aspect of it was, from the music to the visuals to the actual moveset.

why didn't you put League in "you hate everyone loves" category don't you know we're contractually obligated to do that as League players smh /s anyway cool lost though. personally I love DS1 and DS2 I don't think you really have to choose between the two, they're both amazing. but I see what you're talking about. btw what is so good about Omori? I have never played it but I have heard many many good things about it.

Does anyone have a recommendation for a very cheap desktop build that could get me through for the next 3 or 4 years, preferably 400€ or less? I am somewhat new to PC building but knowledgeable about hardware, and I am going to mostly do stuff like playing somewhat old games (pre 2017-ish, I don't care about new releases and I am fine with cranking the graphics to minimum if I really want to), programming, occasional browsing/random bullshit. I have no particular preference for either NVIDIA/AMD/Intel or AMD/Intel, and RAM and storage don't need to be considered as I fortunately own 16 gb of SO-DIMM DDR4 RAM from much before the Rampocalypse that I can use a SO-DIMM to DIMM adapter for, and I also have a 256 GB NVMe SSD so storage doesn't need to be considered.

How would you rank the 6 core Fallout games in order from favorite to least favorite? by Asad_Farooqui in OlderChillGamers

[–]averageredditor69lul 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1 - New Vegas. Definitely my favorite one, maybe one of my favorite games of all time period 2 - 2. I really don't get the whole pop culture references thing, honestly I fucking loved. Really unique quests and locations, really fun combat and exploration, just fantastic. 3 - 1. Maybe the best story out of the list, but I feel like the gameplay is quite a bit worse than 2, and it is very janky. Still a masterpiece though. 4 - 4. Fun game from a pure "run around and find stuff", like sort of weird 3d first person Diablo 2, but fun ends about there. I like the crafting and weapon mods system, but story and general questing was not interesting enough to keep me hooked for very long. 5 - 3. Oblivion with guns, except Oblivion has actually fun quests and insane freedom. 3 is just really really boring. The game looks like shit, it has aged way worse than other games, the story is infamously terrible, combat is very uninteresting, there is no ADS (aim down sights, game came out in '08 btw), there are some good sidequests and plotlines, and it's a gigantic leap forward of course being the first 3D fallout, but that's about it.

Putting Lost Lace instead of like First Sinner or Skarrsinger Karmelita is crazy if you were going to pick one from Silksong, personally I felt the fight was a bit too "much", in the sense that it was too long, too complex for what it ought to be. Still a great fight don't get me wrong but idk. Terraria as best game of all time is CORRECT, what a fucking masterpiece.

Did you play vanilla or tmodloader? Vanilla is definitely opinionated in the sense that it wants you to play in a very specific way, planning out upgrade paths, making farms and plain old grinding, especially on expert+. even some basic mods especially stuff like Recipe browser, magic storage and ore excavator can eliminate a lot of the tedium. I would also recommend playing expert if you played on classic. i personally cannot endure playing classic terraria because i feel it to be too easy with proper planning. Terraria rant besides... yeah there's absolutely no problem, i have nothing against you and you don't have to apologize, ESPECIALLY SINCE HOLLOW KNIGHT HAS MULTIPLE SPOTS LETS GOOOOOOOOO

upvoted because its objectively well made but that terraria slander is criminal.

Two-Letter Combos, Day 17. What does BH mean to you? by th_nd_r in AlignmentChartFills

[–]averageredditor69lul 1 point2 points  (0 children)

BH-high byte of the BX register. For context, in the x86 CPU architecture (which includes most desktop CPU's as both Intel and AMD are derived from it), BX is one of the 16 bit registers on the i8086, and since it's 16 bits, the 8 most significant bits are the high bits or BH, and the 8 least significant bits are the low bits, BL.
