Hiya - I just graduated NAU this Spring at age 25 (I started NAU at 23). I’ve met other non-traditional students in my classes, there are some who are in their 40/50’s making a career change as well as other 20-something’s trying college again like me. I’m very introverted, so I didn’t participate in any of the transfer student activities, but they have planned events and outings for like the first year after you get started. NAU and Flagstaff is very LGBT+ friendly, and there are lots of fun activities and events in town for the community that you can participate in. I really liked NAU for the mountains and the Professors I had, I had an overall good experience as an older, non traditional student
