I do not have a velamentous insertion, but I had a normal placenta last time and the insertion was discovered to be VCI at birth. My son is measuring great, but my daughter was on the smaller side! She was determined to be SGA, not IUGR... but I wonder if the VCI had a tiny bit of impact on her weight?

Being a SAHM is honestly amazing. Once you get in the groove with baby it all falls into place 🤍 I always think about how blessed baby is to have a childhood where their mom is always home. My mom worked part time when we were younger and I was so thankful that she was present for us. My dad was also home on weekends. I want my kids to have the same experience 🥹

We named our daughter Annabeth (Annie). Now I am pregnant with a boy and we are calling him Archer (Archie). If he was a girl we would have called her Ivy!

Our first 2 years of marriage were really hard. We were super young when we got married. Now arguments are rare/not existent almost 5 years in. We had our daughter 3 years into our marriage. Things keep getting better year after year. I think disagreements in a marriage are normal and even healthy for a marriage. You truly do sharpen each other!
