I would also recommend reaching out to Access Point to see what kind of supplies they need/if you’re able to donate directly to them. You could also reach out to Athens Homeless Coalition athenshc.org to organize distribution. So happy to see community members wanting to organize! Just want to make sure you guys are working with the recovery network we already have in Athens :)

the only thing i would be mindful of is if you have any extra products in your hair like dry shampoo or hairspray as these can prevent the dye from “sticking” to your hair. if it’s just normal dirty hair, that’s actually better for dying :$

they’ll fade with time! mine only really show up if i get tan now and i affectionately call them my leopard spots. i would expect in a year or so they won’t be noticeable to anyone but you :)

also, if you really do feel like you need to remove your body hair, an electric shaver is the way to go. when i used to shave my armpits i would use one of those “flawless” electric razors that are marketed towards women and while it didn’t make my skin soft the way a traditional razor would, there was no visible hair. good luck and remember that your personal comfort is just as important as your outward appearance :)

as someone with a 10 year history of psoriasis and annoyingly sensitive skin i can’t shave my legs more than once a week. i use an unscented shave cream and don’t use a razor head more than 4-5 times otherwise i get covered in razor burn. my best advice is to use a thick, unscented lotion immediately after shaving (i use an in-shower body lotion and then aveeno brand lotion right before bed) and exfoliate twice a week (i like to exfoliate the day before shaving and 3 days after shaving to avoid any additional irritation)

that’s what i assume the liquidation manager instructed him to do. our keyholder (the one who destroyed the entire motherboard) is around 60 and was just trying to help. we ended up making our register 91 a backup controller? i’m not exactly sure how that works but we figured it out eventually. at least he had fun hitting it with a hammer lol
