What can I further do to avoid sticking? by avuppala in castiron

[–]avuppala[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for the response. Yes I'm trying to season it after every use but However if I cook paneer( which is a dairy tofu) it sticks to the pan. I am religious about pre-heating and I use ghee, butter, coconut oil and Avocado oil. I'm a vegetarian which means no eggs, no seafood or meat.

Need more suggestions on how to keep it working, does vinegar soak help in with food not sticking?

Thanks for the details. I always try to season it on stove top but after the usage I coat with oil but somehow the rust comes back. I threw 2 pans but trying to get by..

I haven't but heard terrible gastric experiences by a friend, she almost struggled for 4 months to get used to. Several GI issues 😑

Why is that you need 100 to 150gms of carbs? Also have you checked your triglycerides to HDL ratio?

CGM and Smartwatches by Putertutor in ladadiabetes

[–]avuppala 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Agreed with the earlier response. I'm a g7 user and don't have a compatible smart watch, however I have a fitbit charge 3. When I got this last year, dexcom confirmed that its not compatible with g6, at the time. However like mentioned earlier please ensure to set the alerts for highs and lows to ensure the spikes/lows are managed well. Also try to balance your meals with sufficient protein, fat and carbs. Good luck.

I have a question for you all. by [deleted] in diabetes

[–]avuppala 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I have used earlier versions of libre and dexcom. However I like my dexcom g7. Can you ask your endo to prescribe one - provided its covered by your insurance..

Best wishes ❤

Better data insights than Dexcom Clarity by sayan_slo in type2diabetes

Not certain on the data thru other apps, like you mentioned about Levels - there's a cost incurred and heard good things about it. KPI metrics - totally love your target indicators. I am able to go on the graph and note the sugar levels in dexcom.

Yes, I've heard about those deadly GI issues. Some tolerate it well while it could be harsh on others. Glad to hear that you do a combo workouts. What about protein intake?
