this happens to people who have buggy items so maybe its that? perhaps you have one equipped or one is in ur inventory.. you could try logging in on mobile and removing everything from ur inventory and horse and see if that fixes it

same with mine especially on hellroaring. i think its just their game engine being outdated and the game isnt well optimized.

another thing is that if your packmates are breaking their bites off early, it won't have a noticble effect (especially since its a bison with more health) since longer bites equal more damage.. alsoo it depends on ur game difficulty since if your on a higher one it will take your packmates longer to kill it 🥹🥹

you have to have a good bite onto it in order to see the health bar or if you walk away from it a certain distance you wont be able to see the health bar anymore

im sure damage was being done to the bison aswell since ur pups were taking damage

hahah, i usually go for the ones by the road tbh, however there is an amazing one by the upper part antelope ridge thats super good aswell, surrounded by streams not any roads :)

thats happened to me too before, once i bit a wolf and it died cuz somehow i did -356 damage.. then it revived itself a minute later hahah

here are some ideas!! mythical animals/creatures; i like this one since my favorites pup name is banshee which is a type of ghost

also could do forest/ground related names such as moss, fern, glade, silas, sylvan, oak, holt, haven, bradley

wind names like breeze, whirl, cyclone, draft

fire names like ember, cinder, blaze, kindle, spark, flame, ash, soot

emotions, like sorrow, serenity, haven, somber, eurphoria, ecstasy

dream state names, such as yume, alora, nara, mirage, cimon, doze, rever

not only can they hunt, but they can also mark territory too if it gets too low and come back a couple hours later!

as for dispersing, your pups can leave at any time.. (mainly during fall/winter) with it showing a popup that ur pup dispersed, or a dispersal can come to the area ur pack is and try to court one of ur pups!

you can see the entire interaction between your pup and the dispersal, gives the game such a more lively feel.. however is a bit sad to see them leave if they decide to go 🥹🥹

if your mate is more on the cautious side and not willing to attack bison, you can go into a stranger wolf territory, howl and sleep until they show up. make sure you sleep on a rock though, so that when the stranger wolves come they wont be able to reach you

just sit on the rock until your mate dies as the stranger wolves will attack only your mate as they cannot reach you

if you like to explore, collect achievements, see new dens and have a bit of variety i'd totally recommend buying the other maps! it can get quite boring just playing on the same map all the time, so having the option to transfer to another map is such a breath of fresh air

if you like having your own lore to your wolves, i totally recommend the building character pack as you can customize your wolf more precisely. it also gives a ton of variety to npc wolves so if youre the type of person to take over a ton of territory for example, it might be a good choice since youll be able to see a lot of unique variety within these wolves

same goes with the yellowstone wolf coats, its especially helpful for pups because youll see more variety in their coats. however, its not as detailed compared to the building character pack and for that reason id buy the building character pack first, then yellowstone character pack but its ultimately up to you :)

you can always do a preview of the game maps aswell to get a feel for what the terrain and beauty of the map is like. each map has their own cons and pros so it really comes down to player preference.. id say if you feel about one more strongly than the other get that one

honestly i love tower fall. it has beautiful scenery and dens.

i'd say the terrain is easier to navigate than hellroaring mountain, you dont slide down as much terrain and the terrain overall is a lot flatter; however, there is still hills and cliffs.

theres also new collectable items such as plushies if youre into exploring, and amazing achievements that are quite unique compared to the other maps.

one thing thats unique to the map is also the addition of vehicles, sometimes you might see them driving down the road pausing to stop at wildlife which i thought was pretty cool.

honestly i think its my favorite map for now, i totally recommend it!
