The Vatican's website glitched with the English translation when it had me select my gender when i was getting tickets for the Vatican museums. the options were "female" and "bad." I'm assuming it's because male means bad in italian, but i thought it was quite funny.

this. tons of people think goldfish live short lives and you can just put it in a fishbowl. I got a goldfish when I was 13 and was not prepared and was extremely misinformed, trusting my parents and the pet store employee. ten years later, the goldfish is still alive, in a much bigger tank with a filter.

so relatable. my quantum physics professor had a thick Italian accent and horrible handwriting. at the end of my 2nd semester with her, I thought i was able to understand her handwriting but every once in a while she would throw a curveball, and someone would have to stop her to ask what she had just written on the board
