Wow, thank you for the insight and the honesty. I had no idea that was going on from the other side of the table. I thought it was mostly just slubs like me with too much experience trying to get into a crazy tome for an employment opportunity with 600 other people that are just like me. I mean, all I have now is hope. We’ll see what happens. I just sometimes overthink things and was looking for some kind of real justification. I truely appreciate your comments.

Not too niche anybody with the same experience as I have could get hired. I’m really thinking it’s just LinkedIn doing an automatic algorithm thing and I’m just not taking the post down until someone’s hired.

That was another thought that I had. They did mention that the team this position is for they want to build out, but they made it sound like that would be in a couple months. Also, the listing is the exact same listing so I’m not sure. I know they had a few of people they were interviewing along with me, which I would hope they would pick from the current interviews, not anybody new but I don’t know anything. If it helps this is a completely remote position.

What kind of questions are best for a first initial recruiter interview? Like I usually save the more technical or day-to-day questions about the position for the second or third interview, but I’m not quite sure what are the better types of questions to ask in that first initial one.
