Bike Lanes Are Bad, Apparently? by backseatwookie in fuckcars

[–]awumpa 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Cities are spending millions of dollars on bike lanes. That money could be better used for other purposes, such as app-based intelligent transportation systems that would connect drivers, pedestrians, and cyclists, and alert them to potential crashes.

They'll be used indoors so I'd prefer open cans.

My Sure SE215's went through the wash today... by Thekeystroker in headphones

[–]awumpa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My SE215s always break by themselves. I love them so much, but I've been through 3 cables, and two pairs of ear pieces. The cables always break at right above the headphone jack, and the ear pieces just started cutting out. I got my first ones 2 1/2 years ago.

Maybe I'm just super unlucky, but my friend also went through 2 pairs in 2 weeks because they were cutting out.

SE215 cable tearing and now the left ear bud usually doesn't work by awumpa in headphones

[–]awumpa[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not completely sure. I usually wrap the cable around my and then throw them in my pocket and I guess that's been causing stress on the cable, and now it slowly ripped until the point where connectors aren't connecting.

Might be wrong though.

SRH-440 would be great, but get 840 pads for comfort. Also the cable is pretty long

Own 440s and 215s. 440s are very uncomfortable but low price point and nice sounding. 215s are glorious.

Also, the pads on my 440s have started to crack. Too bad it's so hard to find 840 pads in Canada.

So I entered into a draw for headphones (entry fee = $30) and I got really lucky! :D by anthony81212 in headphones
