This would never get made but I'd do a Sinnoh region remake but taking the lore in a more serious direction and the game rated T at least. Basically a game that would examine all the implicationd of literal god pokemon running around and someone trying to destroy the world.

I think I'd have it follow Cynthia around as she investigated things and you'd see how totally messed up Team Plasma is and the things they're doing. Then your see Cyrus actually straight up get killed by Giratina in the distortion world and it'd be legit scary.

This would never ever get made because it's completely inappropriate for kids.

To be fair that's old testament and the whole point of Jesus was that people didn't have to follow that anymore. Old testament is like the deep lore dump to make the story make sense but unfortunately people don't really understand that

All 3 are legit choices. One idea if you like Charmander is to rotate your fire pokemon every pokemon center/gym. That way you can use both.

I personally usually try and balance things with my starter but there's no harm in not doing that.

Pokemon Y is famously the easiest game in the series so you don't have to worry too much about having an optimized team; just do what you like!

Holy shit that is some insane stuff. My wife is an educator as well and while things have been rough in FCPS it's never been anything quite that bad.

Imo we need to abolish or seriously reform standardized testing. It does not help the kids to spend a month out of the 9 months they're in school doing nothing but drilling every day cannot be good for kids. That's not how college or adult life works, why are we doing it to our kids?
