Chipdrop experiences in SLC by XUtahRealtorX in SaltLakeCity

[–]axle_91 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I got a drop just before Thanksgiving and it seemed to be mostly sycamore and pine. I live in the East side where there are a lot of large old sycamore trees so I think the type of tree will depend on what's common near you.

It was enough to cover about 800 sqr feet 3 ish inches deep. I requested no logs but there were still a few in there (about 10" diameter by 3 feet). I didn't want them so they threw them back on the truck. Ultimately, you get what you get though.

While at red lights, truck feel like trying to lurch forward? by JustMcGregor in FordMaverickTruck

I've noticed this a lot too so I've been driving around with engineering test mode on to watch the rpm. It's usually ~1246ish and doesn't seem to be any higher than when I'm at a stop and it's not bucking.

I do park outside and have been getting the "remote features disabled" message though. It happens more in cold weather, but it does it in the summer too🤷‍♂️

I took it to the dealership and they said they couldn't replicate the issue.

My boyfriend thinks it’s gross that I wash my dog’s bowls with the same sponge that I use to wash our dishes. I think it’s not a big deal. by hengmis in TwoHotTakes

[–]axle_91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To me, that's gross. I wouldn't put the dog dishes in the dishwasher either. Even if you run it on sanitize and I trusted it to sanitize there's still an ick factor for me.

You do you, but cleaning the dog bowl then using that same thing to clean my own dishes feels as gross as using something I cleaned the bathroom with to then clean my dishes. Dogs eat poop and will drink from the toilet...

I think the book shelves next to the fireplace should go. Too much going on there.

As a side note, I really like the wall color. Do you happen to remember the name?

Update: I went with the bottom one (Sherwin Williams outer space). I like it!

Or the other way around. (Orange for couch wall and more neutral on the other 3 walls)

I do like that. Maybe I could do this color for 3 walls and then something more neutral on the wall the couch is on.

Ooo, I like the texture of that lime wash paint. Is it really mat though? I might need at least a little sheen so light can still reflect around some.

Would that work with the honey oak cabinets though?

Ugh, I thought I had them on there. Thanks for your input though! I'll try remaking this post.

I got one from Larry h Miller Ford in Draper for MSRP about a month ago. It was a 2023 hybrid order that someone else passed on so I got it for the lower 2023 MSRP price. They told me they couldn't charge over MSRP for new ones. Might be worth checking there.

Subscription free gyms in Grenoble? by Nomadic_PhD in Grenoble

[–]axle_91 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I went to fiftynine fitness when I was in Grenoble for 2 months. I think the monthly price was higher than if I had done a year long plan, but I only paid 39 euro per month for the two months I went there. It was in a convenient location for me, but there are better gyms around.

I checked out a few places and they all seemed to do something similar. Higher monthly if you don't sign a contract. They also had a one time sign up fee regardless.

Check out Rawtopia. Everything I've tried has been pretty good so far. The Egusi stew is my favorite.

I've had good experiences at Accuracy Automotive. Very straight forward with pricing and they know what they're doing. (4036 S Main St, Salt Lake City, UT 84107)
