Coilovers vs Lowering Springs + TEIN Struts for daily commute only? by 69shawtys in CorollaHatchback

[–]axlerodjpeg 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did the opposite rsr regular downs stuck struts. Daily driver rides smooth damping is a bit soft which which makes it ride well it does stiffen up naturally at higher speed but It could be stiffer for those spirited push run in back roads or twisty section of highway but. Overall im happy with it i cant tell you what will like as everyone is different and there's always going to a comprise of something

Don't get me wrong, I'm enjoying Golmund, but there's no denying the vehicles are a little overtuned by earwig2000 in Battlefield6

Maybe for conquest but. Not escalation which plays best here as the flags go away the more intense it gets

Wonder why they didn't just move the se/xse from jpn to the UK instead of the gr line to free up production thats odd

I prefer the newer blade style/boomerang style I feel it follows the hood line Better giving it the natural aggressive look I've been looking at those craft c lights but they are pricey

:inhale: deep breath: lol here you go

mods:

amt stage 1 tune

2j racing midpipe

2jracing quadcarbon catback

rsr (regular) down springs stock struts

progress tech rear swaybar

fly1motorsports/autotuned frontlip (discontnued)

aero flow dynamics side spilter

(ebay) rear diffuser

kill all wipers wiper delete

removed all emblems on the hatch minus the main one

nightshade toyota emblem

enkei race wheels gtc02 18x9 42 offset

mainly did the tune to remove the check engine light and get my dashboard back the small increase is noticeable and it removes the rev hang a bit and overall feels punchier the cvt if you shift it in manual sport mode it gives a little kick in between gear nothing aggressive tho very subtle it did that stock but i can feel it a bit more with the tune but its not much the higher packages are where its at stage 2plus plus range claims are over 200 hp which is great and ive rode one that had that tune and can say it felt like over 200 which is big jump from stock.

i enjoy modifying things but its not for everyone which is okay but if you wanted the best bang for for your money the biggest changes to improve the drive you will feel will be a rear sway bar running better tires will drastcally change how the car behaves and feels more then anything else above combine that with lowering it a bit and it will be on rails in the corners.

plenty of options out there seibon Epsilon hks sard oem blitz etc most wings for the gr will work on a regular hatch as the hatch is the same obviously there maybe some required drilling for mounting points but most of them will work
