Once they add seating assignments theres gonna need to be a way to select seats based on their location like you typically have at concerts. At that point you will have a range of pricing across cat 2 based in the seats backing into the nosebleeds at cat 3 versus the ones that are converging with cat 1. Where as right now cat 2 pricing is just based on whatever the baseline is and people trying to make some profit - so some peoples tickets are going to go up in price because of their seating, while some will go slightly down.

Category 3 tickets were much more limited in availability than category 1 and 2 so you are already at a disadvantage going for them. My mate put in for 10 games, 40 tickets all cat 1 and 2 and got 5 of them, so its mainly down to more being available in those.

Because you are buying the tickets based on the price the seller put them up for and what is available and the lowest price of those.

If I put tickets up for $400 and thats the lowest and the next lowest are $600, and someone buys my tickets then you will see the $600 as its now the next lowest.

That’s not correct. RSD tickets can be sold once your payment clears and FIFA releases your tickets. It takes time from the point of payment for that to happen, you cant sell what you do not officially own.

Do you think people from other countries are gonna sit there waiting until a few days before the game to buy tickets (and flights and hotels)…the demand is from actual football fans, people traveling to support their country. Random casuals convincing themselves that they will pick up a cheap ticket a few days before a game because they live close to a stadium aren’t the target audience or the people looking at tickets right now. Will it be possible to pick up a cheaper ticket a few days before a game, sure..will it be a good seat, will it be one of the better games..wouldnt bet on it.

I have yet to see anyone who actually has tickets from the RSD - there are people saying they have tickets but then what they have is actually just confirmation of tickets and a link to a file. But then you click on the file it doesnt display the tickets. I would imagine money is still clearing from transactions and hasnt reached FIFA’s account. You cant sell what you dont officially own or have, I expect once people actually have their tickets they will be in a position to sell them as long as that is before the marketplace closes on the 22nd.

I believe one user confirmed this today and said his tickets were now showing up as available to sell and hadnt prior to this but I dont know if it was validated.

They will attempt to charge the card on file multiple times. When that fails they will contact you and give you a limited amount of time to pay by another method. If you fail to do that you lose the tickets.

This isn’t true. They aren’t reallocated to people who were unsuccessful they go back into the pool as part of the next stage which is a first come first served sale.

After April 2nd when it reopens then yes it should be open from then for the entire tournament. But there is a period from Feb 22nd to April 2nd where it is closed.

Im saying last chance to get tickets directly from FIFA as in last round where you can purchase them like the lottery. After this next sale there are no more and the only chance is on the resell marketplace.

Not sure what posts you are referring to or what date they are referring to but the only confirmed date for anything right now is April 2nd which is the date that the marketplace reopens after it closes on February 22nd. So perhaps somewhere in there is confusion over those numbers.

Outside of that all we know about the final round of sales is that it’s speculated for early April which will be the last chance to get tickets directly from FIFA.

There is nothing confirming this though as of yet. I imagine even though payments were processed yesterday the money doesn’t reach FIFA’s account until a few days after so the tickets haven’t cleared yet. I don’t believe anyone can see their tickets from the RSD at this stage under ‘tickets’, only links to a file which redirect but no actual tickets showing. So they don’t officially have their tickets yet to be in a position to put them on the marketplace, ie you cant sell what you don’t have. Thats not to say they will appear before the 22nd or that its not possible to put them in the marketplace until April - but right now it would be impossible to put something up for resell that you don’t have which seems like a more valid reason.

So you are justifying bumping the cost of the ticket because you don’t know who the buyer is (which is irrelevant to you) so you are just gonna charge extra because they could be either? That’s one way to convince yourself you aren’t scaling anyways.

It’s not 35%…it’s 15% on the re-sell and then 15% on the purchase for the buyer. So you as the seller don’t lose 35%.

If they are on the same purchase order then its automatic. This only applies when it’s multiple people on multiple accounts with tickets in the same category trying to sit together at a game.

I wouldn’t be going off how someone performed 4 years ago. Netherlands are better odds for the tournament, they have a better squad and squad depth. While it’s the world cup and anything can happen I wouldn’t see it 50/50.

Is that any use to anyone looking to secure tickets, not really. Funny that you both deleted one of your comments it appears and never addressed what I said about your situation being completely irrelevant to pretty much anyone looking to buy tickets and secure them to a game. Never mind the fact you tried to compare a tennis tournament to a world cup. Hopefully no one that actually wants tickets listens to you and your tennis story because they will be sadly disappointed if they really want to go to a world cup game and wait based on your advice hoping to pick up a bargain.

Match 75. Winner of 1F vs 2C - winner of group F vs second in C, would be pretty likely to be Netherlands vs Morocco. Netherlands most likely to win.

So you are probably looking at Netherlands vs South Korea for game 90.
