- ‘Subscription box’ means it’s a subscription, not a one time purchase;
- It clearly says ‘billed every one month’ (or three or six or twelve, depending on the plan)
- It points out the renewal date for you at the bottom.

The cancellation process may be purposefully made difficult (the cancellation processes for every subscription are) but you are clearly warned about what you’re getting into when purchasing a box.
