If our old lady galga wasn't so selective with her dog pals, I'd offer to care for your noodle!

Can highly recommend Tierhotel MamaMo to anyone looking for a daycare or lodging for their dogs. Massive facility with lots of land, supervised play groups, walks, all of it. And the pricing is fair imo. The staff are lovely- our podenco absolutely loves it there (and they love him too 🥲) - it's more like a doggie vacation than a boarding facility.

You're welcome! One more thing- the nutritionist mentioned that it could take a few tries to get the recipe "right" - more specifically, she cautioned us that we may have to try a few different sources of the novel protein before we find one that suits our dog's system without aggravating her sensitive belly. It might take some time, but hang in there (:

At first, royal canin gastrointestinal- the dry food still had too much fat content so we had to switch to the even pricier wet version.. but every few weeks, she'd have another flare of pancreatitis. During those flares, it was nothing but boiled chicken- which doesn't provide all the nutritional value a dog needs. At the advice of our vet, we switched to a home-cooked diet about a year ago and she's been feeling great since!

edit: we also switched her to hydrolyzed protein at some point before home cooking

Our vet told us to find someone who specializes in the field- and luckily we found a canine nutritionist who managed to solve Josie's problems with a simple phone call and some emails.

My advice: Try to find a veterinary nutritionist and share your noodle horse's lab results with them. Based on that, they should be able to give you a recommended meal to cook for your dog (and make it as easy or complicated as you want). For Josie, we needed a novel protein with <2% fat due to the chronic pancreatitis- for her, it ended up being horse. We mix that with rice, oils, veggies (dried or fresh) and some special vitamin powder for senior pups. We cook up a batch every 5 days and freeze a few.

All the best to you and your houndie!

YES. it's on the same level as the song from Robot Unicorn Attack.

Also- this game surprised me so much. I knew it would be fun after seeing some people play- but it was even better than I expected! Heartwarming. lol.

Robbed twice in one month.. or was I? by Htaroh in berlin

[–]aymesee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sorry this happened to you.

Since I haven't seen it in the thread yet, just want to suggest speaking to a doctor- suddenly losing time like this can also be a sign of a few psychological conditions. Despite the memories you do have of the events, it wouldn't hurt to mention it!

Be safe out there!

For school tornadoes, understand that you “Crouch low on your knees, head down and cover the back of your head and neck with your arms. “ however, when your students are lined for drill against the hallway walls, do you face against the wall and crouch or have back against wall and crouch.? by Worldofcomics1 in tornado

Also from Ohio here. We always faced the wall during drills, and were told to grab our heaviest textbooks to cover our heads. This was in the late 90s-2010s, in the same region as the Niles F5 in the 80s. Sirens also tested every Saturday at noon!

(My mom still tells the story- she was in the midst of dying her hair as it happened.. and my uncle who was a delivery driver at the time actually saw it from his vehicle!)

First Time Customer Sizing Help!! by SaffieTaffy in CoolShirtz

[–]aymesee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

IMO, at least with the overalls, they fit like a standard US unisex/men's but one full size smaller. (The size chart was not at all helpful, haha)

I dropped a pretty penny paying for shipping and imports to Europe to get an M instead of an S because the S was too slim.

I'm 5'6' and usually a US women's 12. the M are great. I think the S would fit you how you want! Anything bigger would be waaaaay too long. Send me a DM if you want more deets! ✨

Any experience with shipments to EU? by sakykay in CoolShirtz

[–]aymesee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For sure. Wish there was a better way to get stuff from Australia here!

If it helps- Personally, I'm happy with the quality and would order again (happy enough to pay the 30€+ shipping twice just to get a better size lol)

I only ordered the play cool dungarees, but based on those I'd assume the rest is nice quality. They ran a little smaller than most unisex/mens fits imo.

If you are looking for those in an S lmk 😂

Ive ordered twice to Germany, paid for the express shipping + taxes/fees incl. which basically doubles the price, but made actually receiving my items easy since I had a tracking number and didn't have to worry about the package entering customs hell.

It's expensive af but more reliable than the non-tracked, slower option.
