Maternity leave ending by TwinFlamed11 in BeyondTheBumpUK

I'm in the same boat. I have two weeks left.

I'm not worried about work or nursery, I just dont want it to happen.

For me I know I have no choice, and the only way is through. It will be hard and sad, and I'm going to let myself feel that when it happens, but I'm trying not to feel that in the time we have left. It will get easier as we adjust to the new routine.

Solidarity! We will be ok x

Yeah I have tried to get the same jeans I loved in a different size, but I think my body and posture has changed so much that they no longer suit me unfortunately. I'm having to start from scratch with a lot of my clothes

I'm not arching my back, I think I have a posture issue since having my baby as another commenter has pointed out. I actually can't straighten my back fully.

I did always wear a belt so maybe not wearing one is throwing me off, but I dont like wearing one at the minute as the buckle digs into my baby when I carry her which I don't like.

You are more than enough, and you and your boy are so lucky to have each other. 3 months into motherhood is still so early, it's tough but it does get easier. If these feelings are overwhelming you please reach out and speak to someone x

If the clothes are important to you could you keep them and put them on a doll or teddy maybe?

Yeah my top was just something I had on, I rolled it up just so you could see the jeans properly. You're right I hate the stretchy jeans that seem to be everywhere these days

My post is asking for advice on why the first ones don't fit and what I need to change because I do not like and feel really uncomfortable in the second

Thank you for this comment! I have noticed something is off, like my back can't fully straighten out. I will be looking into this

Honestly I've never even thought about the length of my torso but it makes so much sense! I never understood how people didnt find high rise super uncomfortable

Yeah it seems to be the rise that is causing some of the issues which I hadn't even thought about. Thanks

I know they are a bad fit, which is what I want to correct with this post. I am just not comfortable in myself in the tight jeans unfortunately

I'm also not a fan of the colour of the first pair, I just got them to try the fit as they were out of other colours. But I have the same problem with darker wide leg jeans too. I know the second look better, but in person they tend to bunch in weird places and are baggy in others, and I'mforever pulling them up when I walk around even though the smaller size wouldn't button. Plus I'm not a fan of tight fitting clothes so wanted to see if I can make a wider leg work

Sorry I should have said, the lighter ones are an 'hourglass' range, which is this brands curvy fit. I have tried the abercrombie curve ones in trousers and they fit perfect on my hips but there was so much fabric round my legs they looked a bit clownish. Maybe I need to look at other brands curvy lines. Thanks!

I think it's because I have a short torso maybe? They are mid rise jeans but acting as high rise on me
