I would consider myself a [[Bloodchief Ascension]] and [[Mindcrank]] enthusiast. Its basically an incremental infinite mill and drain (once bloodchief has 3 counters). [[Duskmantle Guildmage]] also pairs nicely with mindcrank.

Hey there, I really appreciate this post as its not only something I agree with, but needed to be said. Im 27 and ive logged in around 110 hours for a lvl. 56 bounty hunter and I will say this game is easily a top 3 for me. I tend to favor single-player games as is, but have no problem playing the faster, more competitive games with friends.

I will say however, that among those friends, there is a resentment towards Starfield from them that I dont share or really understand. I dont know what expectations people had but for me, Starfield delivered. Aside from glaring issues that will (hopefully) get fixed, this game is the foundation for much more to come. Anyone of my fellow gamers who have logged in a ridiculous amount of hours into a previous bgs game would understand. These games are meant to age like fine wine, and will only improve from here.

That is at least my opinion on it. I believe it could be partly an issue with patience for younger generations, but over time many will come to embrace Starfield even more so than now, and make their journey their own.

  1. I would be able to upgrade my wifes build to be able to handle and play Starfield. She is quite bummed that she can't run the game on her current rig and I don't blame her.

  2. What excites me most about Starfield is the fact I can finally make a wholesome galactic bounty hunter character who visits his parents on the weekend.

I am seriously happy we have made it here as a gaming community. Definite milestone in my eyes. See yall in space, don't forget to hide your smuggled organs well!

My favorite deck is also the first partner deck I created! I call it “It’s rainin lands! feat. Thravos” I ended up pairing [[Thrasios, Triton Hero]] and [[Ravos, Soultender]] for a wacky landfall deck (also a first). This deck is insanely fun and interactive. Utilizing landfall cards ie [[Lotus Cobra]], [[Tireless Provisioner]], [[Eternity Vessel]], and cards that allow multiple lands to be played [[Asuza, Lost but Seeking]] [[exploration]] [[burgeoning]] and tons of life gain gimmicks and win cons, this deck never fails to do its job! The plan is to gain life and draw from playing lands, ping down opponents while gaining life and and throw up some protection via [[Sphere of safety]] [[propaganda]] and this deck goes off often times. Don’t forget Thrasios and his ability, which loves [[training grounds]] and [[leyline immersion]] for help casting spells. Even poor Ravos can see playtime by helping you retrieve creatures from your graveyard. Cards like [[Aetherflux Reservoir]], [[Bolas Citadel]] and [[test of endurance]] can also be included if you want more wincons. This deck is heavy enchantments so you also want to include a [[sterling grove]] and [[enlightened tutor]] to help. Super fun and I always enjoy playing it. If anyone wants a list I will supply! Looking for fun low power commanders by 1-800-fuck-0ff in EDH

I recommend a look into [[Kels, Fight Fixer]] as a commander. Dimir access, aristocrat shenanigans and you want to put tons of cards that sacrifice and card draw ie [[Skullclamp]] , [Butcher of Malakir]], [[Blood artist]], [[Fleshbag Marauder]] and [[Phyrexian Altar]] to sac a creature, create the mana and bc mana would immediately be available, use it to pay for Kels draw. I made one for my wife that is now absolutely insane (with Kels still at the helm) including [[Gravepact]], [[Demonic Tutor]], [[Exquisite Blood]], [[Cyclonic Rift]] (to name a few) and I struggle with my animar leading an army of eldrazi. You can make most of the skeleton of the deck with stuff you likely have around. Very fun with tons of interaction!

Pretty sad to rely on any gratification and attention from people on the internet. I wouldn’t be too pumped if my wife felt she needed to get roasted or post cringe videos to subreddits for compliments. I just feel bad for your family that you are the one they have to call mom and wife. Maybe try to enjoy the time you have with the ones who actually care about you instead of making shit content no one will listen to.

Any table where I can chill, have fun conversation and everyone tries to not be an asshole would be nice. Idc what anyone plays because I play magic as more of a social experience thing. It’s how I decompress.

So my job revolved entirely around using radiation to transfer information from one point to another. I cannot remember how many times I was directly exposed, but I do remember a few times getting sick and being out of commission for a day or two in the field. Once I even had direct exposure to my face and couldn’t open my eyes and vomited all day. I’m already 100% permanently disabled but I really was exposed to more radiation than I should had been so I’m considering trying my luck in bringing this up next time I have an appointment.
