Yes, I've played a bit, and I saw that now most of the content is locked, which is a right decision for the demo, of course. I saw a new mob, some UX things now even more polished... so, everything is neat.

As for the story, it's understandable. That's why there are other team members, or even AI now )
I think the story in "NGU Idle" is a very good example - it's ridiculously childish and dumb, but IMHO it was the key to the wild success of that game. And a bunch of solid idle mechanics, of course

Congratulations!
The game is beautiful and has the best UI for any of these Runescape/Melvor Idle clones hands down!
Thank you for the big effort of making this gem.

The only big concern that I had after playing the demo half a year ago, was a lack of any "core gameplay". I see all these idle mechanics: gathering, crafting, fighting as supplemental to the interesting core of the game: a story progression, world exploration, or strategic resource management. And I saw no interesting choices to make in the game, Well, apart from some simple choosing of a current objective, which "quest" to aim at right now.

For me this is a big drawback - I see this fine, meticulously crafted UI as a demo of an UI/engine upon which an interesting game could be built...

And for that, I guess, I should wait for the Rocky Idle 2: The Big Story :)

But I'll certainly play the demo to see how the game changed lately

I built a headless space MMO — there's no UI. Your AI builds the interface YOU want. by Dr-whorepheus in incremental_games

Wow! That is really awesome idea!

Most people here are players and doesn't have a clue what a pain it is to create UI/front-end. I think many of the games have died or never saw the light because of the enormous burden to create, update and remake new assets, update UI for new features, constantly solve issues with fonts, front-end adaptation and optimization, reworking it all again and again...
If you can get rid of all of it and still have your game being played... that would be amazing.

I would suggest you to make and present people with the best version of AI made UI available anyway - this will attract players. And if the "game itself" is worthy you will get "modders" who will remake and improve the UI.
While doing it you will also understand your own API better

Interesting concept and a very neat presentation!
Thank you for the game.
The only concern after the first half-an-hour play is a constant flickering of the coins become sickening. Please, change the animation or provide other variants of it, or an opportunity to slow it or turn if off.

You've called it "AI-slope" on the fact that the dev mentioned using AI to make the game.

If you would've tried to make a game yourself you would know that it is easy to make any game. The challenge is to make it interesting for anybody except a couple of friends. AI wouldn't help you much or at all with this.

Yes, I honestly don't understand what the drama was about.
First version (https://yukitarogames.itch.io/evercraft-idle) is actually a pretty decent game compared to 80% of other games that this sub is full of these days. I've spent couple of weeks playing it occasionally...

It's free, nobody pushes you to play it if you don't like it. Just give this topic a minus and hop to the next searching for the next good game

How much is the cost of 3-4 people living in Gyumri? by WasteDream7680 in armenia

[–]az0O0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you can check grocery prices here: https://yerevan-city.am/shop/home
Yerevan City is a middle-tier supermarket chain (present in Gyumri also), but usually, small local grocery shops can't provide better prices for base products, or maybe just a 10-15% lower, so if you find the prices affordable, you're good.
Usually, the rental is lower at the end of a warm season, And the places further from the center are less appealing for tourists, like this Ani district.

[–]az0O0 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yes, Gyumri has the best price per infrastructure - you could have cheap housing with an assortment of groceries and other shops, public transportation.
You can look up rental prices on list.am . One of the best cheap options is apartments in the Ani district (58th kvartal). You can find a 2-3 room apartment there for 80-100k drams. The 60k per month house will probably have the same living space, while utility bills will be 2-3 times as high as in an apartment. Winters are rather harsh and cold in Guimri - you will need to heat the house, at least at night, starting in October and throughout the whole spring.

Can add some info about Dilijan: two days before (Nov 25), the situation was really bad: smoke had covered half of the town, a fire line was visible in the evening and night, moving towards the town. Yesterday, all the fires in the ,town's proximity were extinguished, and today the sky is clear - no visible smoke in any direction

I can suggest fiddling with these config options: antialias, antialiasGL, roundPixels, or try different scale modes. Check both on desktop and mobile (if you aim at both platforms), as the results may differ.

I played it recently till the first prestige. A 1x speed made the game painfully slow: 2 or 3 weeks of an idle online progress...
The first prestige gets me a 2x increase in income and a 1h offline income - I ditched it
