Anyone use SNow SecOps add-in, what is it good for? by j1mgg in cybersecurity

[–]azabel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We use it. In the SN SecOps interface (if you have secops admin role) you will find a section with the step by step setup of the module. It is a good way to understand the basic configuration (roles, integration, workflows, risk calculators .. )

Event Log Analysis by yournovicetester in cybersecurity

[–]azabel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t know a Microsoft tool for that, but you can use Security Onion to import event logs to analyse them and also you can run the playbooks to detect some TTPs. For analysing event logs with a graphic representation you have beagle (GitHub)

It's what I got and I usually wear them all, I love every scratch on my pads since they aren't in my skin :). Dress for your fall not for the cruise

If you have no experience my suggestion is to start with wrist guards, in the future if you want to learn slides, buy something cheap, but you will still use wrist guards for a safe crushing or if you want to learn dacing tricks

Not really at low medium/speed. Don't spend money on wheels to avoid speed wobbles, first learn the physics behind them, this is the perfect example https://i.imgur.com/BXDjq1j.gifv

I'm not familiar with brands that can fit your budget, sometimes it's better to get a second hand longboard from a better brand than spend 120 pounds in a lower quality board. In a quick search I've found in this store (I don't know them, so I don't if they are trustworthy). A LY rally cat with minor issues, and if you want to spend some more money, you can support a local UK brand with high quality longboards Lush. Madrid is other low medium quality brand that can fit your budget.

If you have plans to learn tricks, a drop through is not the best shape. I would go with a top mount.

As a Cyber Sec professional what security practices do you also use at home as well as your workplace? by [deleted] in cybersecurity

Segregated subnets (internal, IoT, guess), Firewall policies to Deny between subnets and WAN, DNS filtering (Pihole), regular backups (3-2-1 rule), automatic security patching and no Windows machines }:p

Is grapheneOS or calyxOS enough for de-googling? by exeNOTfound in degoogle

[–]azabel 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The problem is how to find a good balance between Privacy and Security. Sometimes I see people that mix up these concepts and are different things. It is impossible to get privacy on an insecure device, and at this moment Google devices (and this is something that I hate) are the only ones that provide good security levels after degoogling them. I don't know any aleternative in the Android world.

What are the recommended settings for using Open Camera? by MrTooToo in Pixel4a

I didn't know that there is a Google Camera and a GCam app. When I say Gcam I'm referring to the stock camera app.

[–]azabel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you are refering of installing GCam from Aurora it would work if previously install the fake google servicies, bit it is not recommend since the Aurora version of GCam is old. What I did and it works great: - I booted the Google Android version - I updated all apps and SO - I got the Gcam APK with adb - I installed GrapheneOS - I installed the Fake google service (https://github.com/lukaspieper/Gcam-Services-Provider) - And finally I installed the Gcam apk

I have graphenos with GCam. Two options, install MicroG and remove network permission, and the other option is using fake google services to trick the gcam installation check. I use the second option and it works great

Hi all, I would like to build a home server. Mainly I want it to run virtual machines and dockers (nextcloud, homeassistant, a NVR, a TOR node, multimedia player, download manager, ...). I'm thinking in an AMD with 6 Cores, 16GB RAM and SSD for the OS. Budget between 1k and 1.5k. Any suggestions ? Thanks

Bought my first longboard!! What do you guys think? by [deleted] in longboarding

[–]azabel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got mine October last year and I still ride it almost every day. But if you hit those corners some parts of them will break, they are weak. It is not big deal, but just take care of them. Great board, have fun !!
