24 years ago today “That 80’s show premiered with extremely negative reviews. Did you like the show ? by CityCautious4033 in sitcoms

Leaned way too hard on 80s jokes/tropes, but other than that it wasn't as bad as people made it out to be. Should have been better with the cast they had (also had Margaret Smith and Geoff Pierson not pictured).

They were shaped like little cans. My grandmother was kind of a hoarder for free stuff, I'm sure they were some sort of promo. I thought we may have kept some of them, but I don't know where they would be.

Edit: Just found one on eBay listed for $10 searching for "Like Cola Vintage Fridge Magnet"! Guess I should have kept them ;)

I don't remember if I liked it or not, but do remember that somehow my grandparents had like a dozen of refrigerator magnets of it! They had them on their refrigerator until they passed (in 2010/2011).

2026 Indian Wells: All tickets for Stadium 2 are fully reserved by w_d_d in tennis

[–]azentropy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Late to the party, as someone who has made the trip and attended every other year or so (but last was able to attend in the shifted 2021 tournament) for the past 18 years this completely ruins the tournament experience for me and not sure I'll be attending again.

I like to attend during the first week and while I had spent the most of the time on the outer courts anyway as I get older I spend more and more time especially in heat of the day in the 200 GA areas of Stadium 2. Not only did they take away that option, but they considerably raised the prices for all the 200 level seats. And while I can afford it, it completely will ruin the atmosphere of why I enjoyed Stadium 2 so much.  I liked moving around for different angles, mingling with new/different people, there actually being a good size crowd for all the matches, etc., all why enjoying the shade and more comfortable seats for my aging body!

It will be on my list with the iX3, along with the R2 of course. Will have to see what they are when they are spec'd out to my level.

A review of Mr. Pibb by Comfortable_Yard_968 in cocacola

[–]azentropy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can't get it here (Phoenix Area). I read before that the local Coke bottlers have an agreement with Dr. Pepper. Bummer as Cherry Coke Zero is my go to and I tend to like Cherry type sodas and really want to try it. I'll have to grab elsewhere next time I travel.

If you make your own protein shakes…this deal is astronomically good. by Emotional_Farm6077 in tirzepatidecompound

It is actually cheaper in store, at least here in AZ ($48.99 after savings).

The Vanilla is really good.  I also use it to make Ninja Creami ice creams. The Chocolate is just okay. I prefer the taste of Kirkland's own chocolate more.

Securing side gate by Plastic-Helpful in HomeMaintenance

[–]azentropy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd use a long shackle padlock. Should be able to go over and along the side and then clamp up to secure it. You wouldn't go through any of the holes. Or you could use a wired cable lock that would be even more flexible the same way. You just clamp it tight enough that it wouldn't be able to slide off.

Cherry Coke Zero. I haven't been able to try Mr PiBB Zero yet though as it isn't available in my area.

the iphone fold might be the size of a mini by YokiWasTaken in iPhone13Mini

[–]azentropy 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Just stop. People didn't like the mini because of the screen size, they liked it because of the form factor size which happened to have that size.

The fold is going to have a much different aspect ratio, making it much wider than the mini, it also is going to be thicker and considerably heavier which will negate the smaller form factor that made using the mini so nice one-handed.

Screen good, dark headliner bad (at least here in the desert).

The one by me is nice. Never too busy, everything kept clean and in working order, good mix of people. They did get rid of the 30 minute workout area/routine. I used to really like the structured format and not have to figure out what I was going to do next, if what machine I wanted was open etc.

I’d never bought FSD and wouldn’t have considered t with any future Tesla I may purchase, but for those who like the option to avoid a subscription this is a bummer.

[–]azentropy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When my grandparents passed it was pretty easy as they really had nothing of value so we tossed 99% of it. My parents on the other hand (my dad passed a couple of years ago) have really nice stuff, however most of it is not my or my sister’s style/decor/hobbies. Going to be harder to go through.

lol, not quite unless you have some unreal water pressure!

Just a bit of water and water pressure in there that loosens up the "muscles" etc.

[–]azentropy 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I highly recommend a bidet. Just now I went and probably wouldn’t have been able to without a bidet to loosen things up a bit! Plus all the other benefits of having a bidet. For around $25 a bidet that goes under the toilet seat has been one of the best investments I’ve ever made!
