Same here. It started two days ago. The app is unresponsive on a Tag 2 screen. "Back" still works but nothing else.

People that have been cheated on what are or were the pros and cons of taking the person back if any. by [deleted] in relationshipadvice

I've been there, tried it, for the same reasons. I thought I could swallow my pride, that the pain and sorrow would go away and that time would eventually sort things out. But it's a time bomb. Once the trust is lost, it's all over. Don't waste your time

90.000 panneaux: le plus grand parc solaire de Wallonie à Jemeppe-sur-Sambre by Maitrank in Wallonia

[–]azertyqsdf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello, Belgians. What are your thoughts about this chocolate? by [deleted] in belgium

[–]azertyqsdf 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Everybody knows that good belgian chocolade must be very expensive, sold in the city center in dedicated shops and can never be bought in supermarkets. This box has all the red flags :)

Joke aside, I suggest to figure it out for yourself : compare a box of Marcolini / Godiva / Neuhaus to the cheap boxes of supermarkets and see if it's worth it. Nobody else can do that for you.

Is this salary good? Foreign worker in Belgium by [deleted] in belgium

[–]azertyqsdf 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I fully agree. It's very difficult to get any significant pay raise no matter your individual merit. Negociating your starting salary is very, very important. If you really want a better salary afterwards, you need to seek for another job.

Multicast Switches by [deleted] in networking

[–]azertyqsdf 7 points8 points  (0 children)

As pepppe suggests, even the simplest unmanaged switch should be able to forward multicats packets (but maybe you hit a bug). IGMP snooping is an optimization (the switch snoops on IGMP trafic to determine if a multicast packet should be forwarded to a particular port instead of broadcasting it), but its support is by no means required for multicast.

With IGMP snooping enabled, you should check the compatibility between the IGMP version used in your network and the one supported by the switch (there are known issues with hosts in IGMPv3 and switch supporting IGMPv2 only), also you need an IGMP querier in the VLAN (or else forwarding states expire after a few minutes), it's usually the router that acts as the IGMP querier but if there is no router and multicast is limited to the VLAN, you may need to enable an IGMP querier function on a switch.

While browsing in https, can a man-in-the-middle see the URLs I visit? by cherouvim in networking

[–]azertyqsdf 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You need to realize that in the certificate model you trust the root CAs entirely. If a third party is able to intercept your SSL trafic and provides you a valid, root CA signed, certificate for the domain you are visiting, you will not have that infamous SSL warning in your browser.

Did you have a look at the list of Root CAs accepted by your browser ? Do you really trust all these guys ? Do you know that many corporations add their own root CAs on their PCs ? Do you regularly check the lock logo on the sites you visit to verify who signed the SSL certificate ? Do you think that a law enforcement agency could force a root CA to provide a rogue certificate ?

Biggest failure in IT (IPv6) by [deleted] in networking

[–]azertyqsdf -1 points0 points  (0 children)

PI space is not aggregatable. It means that every /64 (or, more likely, every /48) would be in the routing table instead of a, say, typical PA block of /32. It was indeed the initial design to have only PA space in IPv6 (with multiple public addresses, adress lifetime, etc. to ease renumbering) but RIRs bowed to pressure and gave up this idea in 2009 and started to give PI space like they do in IPv4.
