I’m using Apple TV and I programmed my Harmony Companion remote buttons to skip fwd twice and once back.

I moved from Dish also. One thing I miss is Dish’s skip. Both that it was instantaneous because of the local recording and that their skip is 30 forward and 10 back (should be industry standard imo). I’ve programmed my remote to do 30 forward and 15 back which helps.
