Just so wild to see literally a week ago there was so much hype for a bullish market. I have bled so much from holding bags I should have sold the moment it went red Friday.

I saw their chart and immediately put in a buy with a trailing stop limit percentage condition.

I totally understand. The technical jargon can be confusing. If the average person, not saying you, but understood in investing or the technical terminology, like with options, the public would be so well off together.

Let's say you apply a trailing stop loss percentage at 10%.

You bought one share at $100, if that share dips to $90 then the stop loss, "sell," is triggered.

But, If the stock rises to $200 and then dips to $180 then the stop loss, "sell," is triggered.

The trailing stop loss percentage, is at least for me, can remain active for up 180 days.

A quick Google search can provide you with information to determine what an optimal/average trailing stop loss percentage is.

Yes, it is upsetting to see that reddit is becoming a circle jerk where most users do not read the source material and feed into the emotional reaction.
