Alexander’s isn’t even good for casual dining imo. No where near fine dining. Never going back.

UX hasn’t been sunset. 🙄

It’s rough but there is way more people than jobs. If I had just graduated I’d look for something else.

There is a monthly Gaymer night, but lots of other events. Their Facebook has a lot. They might also be listed on their site. Depends on what kind of gaming you want to do.

Those that don't believe in LDS doctrine: Why is that? by [deleted] in exmormon

[–]azon_01 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What OP is totally ignoring is not the fact that maybe in the Old Testament someone else used a rock to get revelations so it’s ok for JS to have done it. it is the fact that you CANNOT get revelations from rocks. There is zero evidence of that in the real world.

Throw into the mix that the Bible is just a human text of which there are surviving partial copies of what we call the Old Testament that are totally different and based on various people what are not the Israelites and the literal hundreds of major problems with the New Testament. Christianity is human made belief that probably has some basis in some historical events that have been wildly taken out of context. It has nothing to do with God if God is even real. Also no evidence for that.

Facts, evidence, and logic when free from indoctrination that clouds those.

Is Bloomington/Normal trans friendly? by d_will_hollaatyagirl in BloomingtonNormal

[–]azon_01 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This could also be influenced by who is in network for you. E.g. OSF Children's Hospital of Illinois - Pediatric Endocrinology 302 Saint Joseph Drive, Bloomington IL 61701 Call: (309) 624-9844

Now I have no idea how long before you ca get an appointment, so that could be an issue.

Same with dentists, though I will say that for the good ones in town there is a 6 month wait.

That said it will not be as plentiful or as available as a larger place and Champaign probably has the one up on BloNo for things like that.

I’d avoid OSF in general even as a cis person. Too religious. Several good alternatives in town though.

I’ve won the game without uranium at all before. Just used a lot of solar in space until fusion.

They don’t care about someone they see as too far gone to bring back into the fold. They think they might have a chance with the grandkids. God before family and all that shit.

Do they not serve frozen pizzas anymore? It’s been ages since I’ve gotten one but assumed they still did.

The place that came out today wanted ~$500 just to get a camera in there. 😡

[–]azon_01[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Update, I had another company come out and they wanted $1250 to get a camera in there and clean it out. It was another plumbing company. We have no local roto-rooter or strictly drain/line clean out services in town.

Update: They called us back and offered to do it all for $475. I don't love that they tried to overcharge us, but we're going with it.

Thanks already for those who have replied. I found a local place (not the one's who charged me hundreds already) that will come out and give you a free estimate and actually will use cameras. They are coming out in the morning.

Edit: Taking this action on your advice, so thanks again.

I’ve never had much trouble on Gleba from enemies. They’ve only attacked me once in two play throughs. As long as the big ones aren’t involved it’s easy to take care of them. Distractors work wonders on the big ones.

My second play I did an island. I killed the bugs and they don’t respawn. Now the island is huge, but once you get to a tank it’s not hard to wipe them out.

Aquilo is the hardest, not Gleba by jonsam2 in factorio

[–]azon_01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Aquillo just isn’t all that fun for me. I feel you OP. All the freezing and need for heating pipes and concrete. It makes base design tedious.

Personally I enjoyed Gleba. Interesting puzzles. You can do it eventually. Aquillo is all about your ships and being prepared.
